'04 Mazda 6i with a custom exhaust, cold air intake, eibach lowering springs, and some other bits added and removed.
'99 Ford F-150 4x4 that I bought from my dad a few months before he passed away, it's sitting right now until I get off my butt and fix the leaking rear diff.

Yeah, but, hey! The Waltons didn't build that on their own. The gov'mint gave it to them a couple of years ago.
Oh that idiot is never going to live that down! If the government had a hand in it I think it must have been concentrated on the checkout lanes! 5 cashiers, 3 in the afternoon and everybody gets off work about the same time from 3 centrally located factories around here... It's madness!!!

I use the workshop organizer plastic drawers. I like the amount of storage and the fact they don't take up to much room.

Picked up the Shelby GT350R at the lhs and the motor city muscle '69 camaro for 40% off at hobby lobby. Last Saturday I picked up the 2010 Shelby GT500 kit, some paint, and a couple magazines at the lhs. Now I just need to find time to build...

I've bought from them many times in several years and I've never had an issue with them. It does take them awhile to get an order shipped, around 7 days, but once shipped, I have it in two days.

I just finished this up... It was just what you would expect from a Tamiya kit. Test fit closely because the fire wall does not seal up the engine bay so you'll want to make sure you black out the inner body shell accordingly. I scrapped the kit wheels for some parts box wheels per request of the person getting the finished car. Also ditched the spoiler which only required sanding the alignment pins off the deck lid. Also subbed in some different seats and brakes. Scratched up a mesh grill, roll cage and dip stick for the engine. All that said the kit will look great built right out of the box.
here's a few pictures
You really need to mow your grass! What a jungle! Seriously though, that looks great, I'm definetly going to have to check this it out!

Yeah...so much for those Chargers there Wayne
Having seen a few police policy manuals in my time let me assure you there is no section covering "Attack by Tractor"...
Sounds like something that would be in the manuals around here (west-central Indiana)

Problem is though, there are fully functioning idiots out there that can miss a brightly painted locomotive with rumbling diesels, flashing lights, lowered crossing gates, and people yelling for them to STOP!!!!, I'd hope those noisemakers would work. I have heard a Tahoe hybrid running on electricity, sounded like a vacume cleaner, Volts are quieter, but you still get some mechanical noises from it.
I drive a 30,000 lb flat bed Kenworth that is
Painted BRIGHT orange, you sir, ARE CORRECT! Most people are so very stupid.

With the exception of exotic aftermarket stuff, i buy from my LHS. He special orders and i don't pay shipping. Every so often he knocks something off like 10% but even if he doesn't it gives me some place to hide on Saturday mornings.
Hard to shoot the breeze with the UPS guy.
joe.
I'm right there with you on this one. We shop at Walmart all the time, my wife works in the pharmacy so we get 10% off GM, but I would prefer to support my lhs, at least I can walk through the isles without people standing in the way having there personal conversations... and like you said, it's nice to just hang out with other builders.
