Beautiful work, very rustic.

I'm sure it's a company in Poland, that was my lame attempt at a joke. ? I think the Adam Sandler movie is called, "don't mess with the zohan". Not that I'm an Adam Sandler Fan, I just remember the unusual name.
Back to to your build, beautiful work my friend!

Basic sign is together. This should be a joy to mask and paint!
I had the station sitting on the floor of my micro sized model room. When I swivelled in my chair, the station was caught between the chair and the wall, and the gatorboard was crushed. Repairs are underway. All damage was on areas covered by brick, so I should be able to make the repairs undetectable. It's just aggravating to fix something that was fine to begin with. I'll have to carry stuff I'm not working on into the next room, to prevent this sort of thing from happening again. This picture was taken before the damage.
I am glad it occured early in the build when it will be easier to fix.
phenomenal!

What gas pumps did you use?
ditto the entire diorama looks stunning, but curious on the pumps.

A new twist to reduce, reuse, recycle! Great execution, although I confess there's a part of me that cringes seeing a car used that way. LOL

Ok this is madness! In a good way! Detail guy welding, stickers on the tool box, miniature model cars in the office, working trouble light, and Christmas tree. Wow!
-
Thank you! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your fantastic diorama. ?

Looks great! Complete with a cow patty.
I really think this is good, but for more realism, I'd probably add a few more cow patties and vary the height of some of the grass. ??

Love it!

This is craziness! I really like the work done so far, but where do you get 1/24 scale figures for this? Surely they were scratched or kit bashed.
-
Great start to an awesome tribute! Great idea to do a tribute!
-
I agree, Rick. I've gotta make that floor a bit grimy!
Add a third to that comment. Also a little weathering to some of the other equipment.
-
Amazing work - it doesn't look any more realistic than that!
I second that!
Isn't that company based on the name of a Adam sander movie? ?

I've been buying piles of engines and parts for this. In there were this block and head. Painted them up and drilled out the exhaust ports in the head. Placed it on the shelf.
Made a couple more engine stands and found the three wheeler in the bag of engine parts.
Added another sign above the door.
Used some square tubing and made the supports on the body dolly adjustable.
fantastic work, where are you getting the little wheels for these parts? Are you scratching them or kit bashing?

Fantastic work on the lettering and the store! ??

Wow!?

All of your models look fantastic!

Nice work so far.

Great craftsmanship on that frame. It looks like it was manufactured that way.
-
I really like how you applied the 70s velvet wall paper, what a great touch!

Love the detail!
