I've made this diorama last year. I first did that scene for an Impala, but the car bored me, so I've chosen that Bel Air. Some pictures :

Paint base on the cab, chassis and bed. Cream and yellow primer for the cab. Black and rust for the chassis. Here is the cab with rust ( not finished ) :

Sorry, that's a mistake of translation , I believed the translation for "grappe" was grap... but I see no... Do you say cluster ? Where the parts are fixed.

Your totally right... Gas is very expensive, but pleasure doesn't got a price ! I've forgotten bad engines ( diesel ) a few years ago... Now I only drive gasoline cars, not cheap, but better ! I've also got a typical french car of the 70's, a Renault 4, but at my sauce... rat rod !

Thanks everybody... Yes, gas is gold here... that's why I can't drive my Chey everyday... but passion is stronger than economy ! So yes, if I put a lot of money in the tank, when I put the pedal to the metal and hear the magical sound of the V8... I forgot everything and enjoy ! I'll show you some pictures...

I'm working on a 1/25 AMT Ford C-600 Stake truck... 600 is written on the box, but 800 on the cab. And there's a problem in this kit, no numbers on the graps ! This truck will take place in a junkyard diorama... so it will have a "rest in peace" look ... To be continued...
