Thanks guys, hoping to have a white base coat on it this week so it can be looking to get paint in the next week or so. time is running out on getting this done. Working on interior and getting ready for some carbon fiber on that and the chassis.
Oh boy, now I gotta worry about people camping outside of my house. I'm paranoid now, I'll be looking over my shoulder at every turn and, and, and......
Ok maybe not to that extreme, thanks for the kudos, hope you had fun at Kemps!!!!
A little bit!! Maybe?? lmbo...... I took it with yesterday to ask the owner if it was looking ok. He said yes it was so now I can get going on it again. After a bit of talking Mr. Ken (Kennyboy) on the forum here will be laying down some kustom paint work on this one after John lays some pin stripe work on the roof and hood.
I'd keep them and display them as is. I too have my dads old model cars and they will never change from what they are. My dad is still around but not doing so well these days. You've got a nice collection of your dad there. Cherish them!!!
Yes they did in Sazuka Japan, only thing is I don't have an extra sheet of those decals and they're not to easy to find. I have the Sazuka car sealed from Sr. and I have around 12 decal sheets/sets from he and Jr. but none of the Japan cars.... That would be a kool idea to if I can come accross some...
Thanks Rob
Thanks Ira
Getting ready for white base coat and start getting some color thrown on her!!!!! Thanks to Ken yesterday. He gave me some Fancy Foil so I can finish the rear bulkhead and start painting the interior. Ken, myself and another friend of mine all drove out to Davenport Iowa yesterday for the Kustom Kemps in Miniature club meet.....
Thanks guys.......... Yes Sam, that's what is happening with it...... LOL
Hey Chuck, I like the idea of doing that. I have some old Earnhardt decals here and could make that work. Even go black and silver paint combo with the Earnhardt livery on it would look kool too....
