  1. the rat in the names means big block the car is named rat roaster.This rides runs a mouse. the little mouse motor aka small block chevy will be roasting the big block gm cars that were built in the late 60's early 70's that is the time line the car was built after. it was a great build and he stuck to his list of ideas from the start you can watch all whole build on stacy david's web site ....And what did you use to drill/cut them out thanks much.
  2. i am workin on the same build. did you drill out the holes that run around above the seat? great build i like it in blue. i started mine in a darker green then box color but think it will be headin to the pond just not diggin green on it.

  5. well this is my frist try i got a willys drag coupe and changed up the paint from box stock other then that its stock out of box. just tryin to work with the tips and treats some of you guys share. open to comment thanks guys for looking. p.s. i just happend across this forum and can not be happy following the builds and wanted to take part.
  6. wow guys thanks for the help now do you guys all spary or hand paint with these units because so far i have been doing it by hand.
  7. hi guys i'm new to the model world and was looking for tips on painting small parts. like hold then placement to dry Then taken said now painted part and glue and assemble parts with out messin up any paint and getting chrome to hold down. I am working on a amt freightliner white maybe a tip on join the 3 cab parts and make it look good or will i have to do a day cab lol(don't want to).i got this kit from a inlaw on christmas because could not think of anything and i've wated to do a build for a long time.. but my be over my head with this kit.i see some of your guys mods and kit builds that are just good art! any help would be great thanks much and happy building

Hi i'm new to this forum i just got this same model. step 4 of part 3 you are missing if you look at the main part 7 where you put the engine in you will see a good pick of the engine mount you will find it with that pic. i'm new to the model world and i got this truck and a amt fruehauf van for christmas and seem to be way over my head on this lol.been looking for much needed tips and tricks.
