yeah..I just paid 90 bucks for that nissan,but I just had to have it..lol..I dont know if I will do it again,but this one is my trial and error truck..im learning a lot,but theres always the need to know more...Trying not to cause any perminate damage though..lol

Im affraid to cut too much on the nissan,because it cost me almost 100 bucks alone,so thats why I puchased the other kits hoping I could piece together a cool drift truck..I want to do a roll cage through the back glass and all..lol

I do,but I don't quite know how much difference there is in size...didnt think it would make to much difference..if so..I will try to resin my own sr20 then if it looks out of proportion

Ok..for the people who know that im currently working on the GMC I figured i'd let you all in on what I just ordered from ebay..should be here around valentines day which I figured my wife might get excited about all these packages showing up..lol..but ive got plans for her too..lol..,so no worries..I want to build a drift/stanced d21 since I already am making a slammed truck..I orderd 3 kits to build this one truck...I ordered the silvia because of the sr20 and the datsun for various parts..also heres a pic of a close idea..I will start on it asap and continue progress with the gmc as well

Im excited about how its coming along...have a few ideas..made a FMIC mount..might add more putty to make a design when my dremel bits get here

A-Arms are done..the front is coming together nicely...trying to figer out how high to mount the turbo,so just half of it sticks out

where do you get this kit at...all these cars and trucks..I had no clue you could get these in models...ford trucks are not as common in the bd truck scene and I really appreciate it when something is original..looking great

got home late,..didnt get much done,but had a few ideas and started on them..smooth bed floor..doing the coils on the back...I was thinking since the rear actually works and im happy with that ... I want to add more detail,so I might make it stationary and just go for detail

BTW where did you find a c10 model at?..I want one of those to build too..I just won a bid on ebay for a nissan hardbody,but since I slammed this truck im going a different route on the new nissan model when I finish this..plus I really like how you have your 4 link triangulated over the DS..

thanks..I wasnt to sure if this was gonna work....the wire I used to make the spring stays pinched when I lower it,but If I leave it in 1 position technically doesnt mean its not adjustable..lol

1st functional coilover!!!!!!!!!!!!!..lol,,..I'll paint n detail them later...just makin sure they work for now

I did a few things to the body too..door handles,gas lid and front windshield vent,but far from done..lots more sanding and sanding to do..lol..got the back half in putty too

work was slow today and It was raining anyway,so I did a little work to the model..Im almost finished with my scratch built fuctional coil overs..i'll show those later...and thanks for the compliments everyone..this is turning out better than I thought..actually I think I have a new hobby..lol

Ive gotta head to work in about 30 min,but this is what im working on before I go..got kids sports tonight .may not get a chance later..I was messing around with a color combo for the engine,but Im going to drill through the a-arm and run a bar through it too..then break it loose with the ends of the bar glued to the frame..then it should move up and down..hopefully..lol
