Super clean Goat! Love the color.

Wow. Super clean build. And as many others have said, love the paint and tire/wheel combo. At first I thought I was looking at an old sales brochure.
-
Nicely done! Very clean build.

Fantastic job on your Goat. The 1/25 version looks just like the 1/1 version.

What an epic build! Congrats for staying with it to the end. I know many of us loose interest to see something of this magnitude through to the end but you hung in there. Way to go! It's definitely an award winner at whatever contest you enter it in. Peoples choice!!!

Glad to help Don.

I also bookmarked the paintref.com site. I didn't know about this so it really came in handy. 👍

Most excellent. Thanks so much Steve. I searched and gave up. I have a bunch of MCW paints so this is good news. Don
Just purchased a large order from MCW including this limelight green and a dk green interior paint.
-
Does anyone know of a source for Pontiac Limelight Green metallic paint? MCW does Lime Green but couldn't find Limelight Green. Refinishing an old Monogram '69 GTO I converted into a convertible like the one I drove many years ago.

I thought I had an extra one Bill but I can't seem to find it. Sorry.

Awesome build sir. That color is gorgeous.

Wow, thanks for the link Matt. I had my right clicker, "save as" button going like crazy to make sure I kept all these pics for references. Probably one of the best walk arounds I've seen for a '69 Judge. And I think this is the first time I've seen a Judge with a vinyl top. I didn't think they did those but it's right on the order sheet and window sticker. And you're right, plenty of pics to give me an accurate idea for the rear spoiler.
-
I have several of the Monogram/Revell '69 GTO Judge kits and have never thought the rear spoiler was correct. It just looks off. Seems to stand too far up from the trunk and doesn't rake back enough. I thought AMT included something that looks similar to the '69 spoiler on the parts trees of the '67 and '72 GTO kits but that isn't much better than the Monogram part. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

GTO chrome bumper was different from the Tempest Lemans version. Or maybe that was 69.
It was the '69 LeMans/Tempest bumper that was different from the endura bumper found on the '68 and '69 GTO's. When Pontiac came out with the endura bumper in '68, they weren't sure how the public would like it so they offered an endura delete option where you could get the chrome bumper found on the LeMans/Tempest. They dropped the delete option in '69. The 68/69 GTOs shared the same endura bumper.
Hopefully I didn't offend you by telling you something that you already knew. Just trying to be helpful.....

Really sharp paint on this Mopar. Love that Bronze color. Can't wait to see the final pics when you get her done. Super nice.

Amazing job on your 68 Goat. Really looks good with those non-retractable headlights. Curious if anyone ever made a chrome front bumper for the 68 GTO/Tempest/LeMans. Would make a nice alternative to build the 68 GTO with the Endura delete option.
Well done Randy!

I need a '70 GTO nose for an upcoming project. Anyone have one to spare? I have lots to trade.
Bill, are you just needing the front enduro bumper without the grill/headlights?

Amazing build. At first I thought I was looking at a 1:1 car. Flawless paint and finish.

Stellar build! Love that shade of green.

On most of my more recent builds, I drill out the molded in headlights and replace them with new reflectors and clear lenses, but on some of these older builds, I just used a mixture of clear with a tiny bit of white mixed in.
tail lights are just Testors “Stop Light Red”.
Steve
Thanks Steve for the tip. Don

Wow! Your builds are amazing sir. May I ask what you use on your headlights and tailights to give them that non-toy-like look?
-
Beautiful GTO! Looks absolutely like the real deal. So glad they brought the '68 back in kit form.
-
So I just picked up the Boss 351 kit and my example has a cracked windshield right down the middle. Anyone else have this problem or did I just get lucky and get that one kit? I've already contacted Revell and requested a replacement part. Other that this one issue, this is an amazing kit and can't wait to get started.

Such a killer build. Just picked this kit up. Will be using your build as a reference.
