  1. Managed to take photos outside today. Hopefully tomorrow too. Sticker says that it's an BMW. I wouldn't know. An other fun project. Very few parts. Built some interior from card board. More practice with salt tehcnique. Here is link for tutorial. https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/5907200418668547377?banner=pwa
  2. So i finished that red car and the police toy. Never found out which car it is. And that police toy, i don't even know if it's based for real vehicle or just imagination. Not so important.Took these pictures today. This first one i shall call Rolling Blades. This time i did better with salt and sugar than before. And this one is called Satisfaction.
  3. " Nice paint and photography skills." Thank You, but actually i took over hundred pictures with two cameras; Canon ixus 120 is and Sony dsc-w320. I get better results with Sony. Only when i get home and download pictures i see which are good. It's allways an surprise. And i promise you, they don't come all out properly.
  4. Before i found this forum i bought some police force-toys from flea market and i've been working on them when ever i felt like it. Mostly i've worked with this some kind of recon vehicle i suppose. Didn't really know what to make of it, but now it's turning to be an other post apocalyptic/zombie hunting thing.
  5. Hi there! Went out today and took some pictures from that PA Mercedes Benz i mentioned earlier. My first try with salt and sugar method didn't work so well, but it turned out to become camo pattern. Slowly working with my version of Zombie Crusher too. I have two of them crushing things, i have to decide what to use. Also i've been collecting more of them cheap vehicle toys from flea markets so i have plenty of work ahead.
  6. Hey all! Flea markets are my main source of materials that i use. Here's an example. I've been buying these cheap robot toys, and from these two red ones i made one Big Daddy Mecha (i love Bioshock games) and one Soviet Mecha. One might think that making stuff from toys is easy and simple but not so. First i have to take them apart and then i have to use lots of sandpaper and files to make the surface good enough for painting. But it's good fun, otherwise i wouldn't do it. I also use paint.net photo manipulation.
  7. Thank You! Before i put any more pictures here i'd like to confirm from Dr. Cranky if i can join with my non plastic model works. Meanwhile if anyone can recognize this that i'm working on now. Unfortunately the photo did not come out properly. I'm planning to make zombie crusher from it. Totally inspired by the one that Dr. Cranky made.
  8. Hey everybody! I've been following this site for as long time now and finally decided to register. I don't like or care much about cars but this build is totally awesome stuff. Great fun and inspiration. I've already made one PA Mercedes Benz, but it's not an plastic model but old toy that i got from flea market, like most of the stuff i use. I do have plastic models waiting to be build but they are tanks and aircrafts. I use paper, cardboard, etc. too. I make 3d camo suits also. Anything goes. At the moment i'm making an other car, broken toy from flea market too. I don't know the name since i'm not car person. Thanks to Dr. Cranky and everybody else for this site and i hope this goes on for ever. Sorry about my rusty english.
