  1. sorry about the quality of some of the photo,s, hope the build makes sense, it took about 6 months on and off to complete, started just after Christmas and completed in june, for a comp, but was unplaced, theres also a sister truck to this that's still a work in progress, will post up pics soon
  2. this project started with a re build using an old kit, I scratchbuilt the holmes gear and intended to use the AMT body work, but changed my mind and scratchbuilt the body too, the cab was altered with revel pete heavy duty front wings and a bro wrecker bumper, but during some internet research I found a photo of an autocar run by George Logan towing, so decided to make a sort of copy of that truck http://images.yuku.com.s3.amazonaws.com/image/bmp/57b16c497360366dce20e653c073d6edfaea6023.bmp

  11. hello, I was sent the link for this forum by a member, (Q-tip, ), thankyou john, to check out his excellent w/s wrecker project,not had a chance to fully explore the site yet, but what I have seen so far has been excellent, started building as a kid, planes tank,s ect, then moved on to AMT cars, thanks to my uncle, then when I saw my first big rig kit, I was hooked and been building on and off ever since, have a large collection of old AMT /ERTL kits that I plan to build someday, (honest), and a few projects on the go, will post up some builds when I get to grips with the forum, thanks
  12. very nice, the eagle brougham decals look great, and I love the visor and headlight treatment, cool project
  13. very nice job, shame about the original sleeper, it looked really smart, some great features on this, especially love the candy purple and white on the cab and hood, the s.p legs look great, will watch this develop
