Excellent work. Do you have the Trans Am to go with it?
Yes I did make the Trans AM, but forgot to take a picture of it.

Thank you.
I like this one....Very nice work....Clever usage of the decals, and the build looks pretty clean....The wheels and tires you used look way better than the Revell ones, too....Never seen one with the Western Star as a tractor.....Very nice, indeed.....

Even though I am new to this forum, I DID order one of these trailers in early April. No reply to any inquiry for info, nothing. I AM hopeful to receive SOMETHING , but who knows when. I DO understand being backed up. Travis, simple communication will help. KJ, are YOU marketing your trailers yet? WANT ONE!
Hello. Travis is not making the trailers anymore. If you paid a deposit, I would contact Travis for a refund.

I can't believe it. I finally got in contact with the right people at Italeri. They're sending me the decals to correct the disaster I created due to being impatient. I need to finish up the truck, which is really close so I can take it to the contest in a few weeks.
Do you have any pics of the braces for the side skirts?
-
I got them from Earl Miller. Are you interested in a set?
I think I am.
Ok send me a message and I will get you his contact info

He will be shipping the trailers out this weekend. He said there was a big storm that hit his area and power was out. He is a man of his word and he will get them shipped out.

Hi Modelers,
this is my first 1:25 plastic-kit since i stopped building Kits in the late 80s
a friend gave me the Freightliner Kit for christmas 2013 and that hooks me up
i'm now fully back into plastic
i realized fast: building big kits ist a different story than customizing 1:64 scale Die Cast
So started late December 2013 with the COE
i finished it in November 2014, including 2 Cars and the Tanker
I didn't like some things AMT made
so i had to change the things i didn't like
shortened the front axle, made a new exhaust and air-intake from aluminum tubing
changed the wheels to 5-spoke, removed chrome for a fleet-workhorse-look , i don't like chrome overloaded trucks
removed the problematic door steps an made the more primitive ones
the tanker: i removed the chrome and gave it a matt aluminum finish otherwise it's out of box
so for sure it's possible to build it better, but for the first one, im quite happy with it,
for the outside fotos, i caught the rare late autumn sun
enough words, pics:
Where did you get that driver figure from?

Question - where's a good source for the reflective tape seen on truck sides?maybe called DOT stripe?
Sorry for the dumb question, but I'm still learning
I got mine off of EBay. Or Line-o-tape.com

Sorry I dont have a build thread on it. I can tell you what I did on it. I started with the Watkins W925 kit. I changed the steps to be more movie accurate. I added a 3D printed grille, PE headlights, PE side markers, PE steps, PE exhaust shields, PE mudflaps, PE tail lights, PE wipers, PE fuel tank caps. The stacks were made by a friend of mines out of aluminum. After market tires, aluminum wheels, resin hubs. Some wiring on the engine and chassis. I made my own fuel tanks out of PVC pipe. I changed out the kit horns for ones out of the snap Kenworth. Decals were made by another friend on mine for the truck and trailer. The trailer is the AMT Coca Cola trailer. It has PE taillights and resin 5 hole wheels. The wheels come in 5 pieces.
