Hey guys. Figured I would show you what I'm Currently working on. It's a kit bash of a 1965 Chevy race car hauler. Have had the two kits for a while just sitting in the closet and one day I had the idea of combining the two together and some parts boxes to do it. Let me know what what you guys think and also open to ideas as well. kind of " wingin " it. Debating if I want to run one ton suspension and a dual rear tire axle on the back or not
The two kits i'm using are Revell Monogram 1965 Chevy stepside kit # 85-7249
Amt/Ertl Model King Open Road Camper and Racers Wedge Model King #21453p
Here's a few pictures of what I got done so far. Bare with the crappy camera, still trying to figure it out not to mention it was a cloudy day
I went with a flat white for the ramp bed.
the color is a gloss burgundy with a gloss white top
cut the rear frame of the 65 pick up and re worked it but still have to add some frame rails so it will be a full frame
plain jane interior. Flat white and some detail done

I use the Revell 68 Charger 2n1 kit #85-4202 and also parts from a Pro Modeler 69 Charger kit. The wheels were from the parts box. I just sprayed them with some rattle can aluminum. Does anyone know where I can find a replica of the police car that chased them at the end of the movie?

Hello there! I'm new to Modelcarsmag and I wanted to start off with a build I did about 2 years ago of one of my favorite car movies and the best version of a 1969 R/T Charger in my book. This is the car from Dirty Mary Crazy Larry
I positioned the wheels turned just because that car didn't see to many straight roads. haha
Also had to add the little cb antenna like the one in the movie
