Nice Build. Thanks for posting.

Tim - Removal of the axle hub flanges, I think will remedy the problem. Thanks for the suggestion.
John - Narrowing it for future production runs would be great!

After doing a mock up of the newly released MPC Bounty Hunter Connie Kalitta Mustang F/C, the front axle seems a bit too wide. When you drop the body down on the chassis, the front tires protrude way too much. This is a different front axle than the one in the Blue Max kit. Has anyone experienced this?

Very nice build! Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Thanks for posting.

Phil - The blower pulleys and blower belt are from the Wild Willie fuel altered kit.

John - The parachute line is embroidery thread I picked up from a local fabric store.

The body is a Competition resin body over a "Wild Willie " modified chassis with engine. Tires and wheels are Competition resin. The front axle and fuel cell are scratch built. MCW faded paint. Parachute is from Calnaga Castings. Decals were custom made. Thank you for the kind words.

Yep, it does look fridge white.

Yes, they are custom made decals.

Very nicely done. Is this a replica of an actual 1:1 car or something of your own imagination?
-
Yes, I have done the same. Not many internet PICS.

Just picked up the Connie Kalitta Mustang F/C. The box art has it white under the decals. Might anyone know if the white on the 1:1 car was pearl white or just white? The directions do not mention color schemes. Thanks.

Craig - Changing the RR resin from a 4 door to a 2 door sounds relatively easy. I have never done this before. Any further tips or pointers? Thanks

How difficult would it be to convert the 4 door to a 2 door? How would you go about doing this?

Does anyone make a 1938 Chevy 2 door sedan in resin? Thanks.

I did my Pittman with MCW Auto finishes Poppy Red mixed with a splash of MCW Matador Red. I thought the Matador Red was a little too red for the Pittman Willys. The Poppy Red is more of an orange. All the S&S cars were more of an orange/red.

Does anyone make decent hood latches for a 41 Willys build? The ones in the original Stone Woods and Cook kit are not that terrific. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Very beautiful work! Looking at your work makes me want to build. Thank you for posting. Would love to build 1/16 scale but have a problem of placing/storing them in my apartment.
