  1. Hi Lower99, thanks! Hey Dale, Yep I modeled a Miller Wildcat 200 welder / generator. Here is what I was shooting for. Danno, Chris, Thanks! HotRod, thanks! yeah they are very pricey....
  2. Hi Dawg, I got the tanks from a fujimi garage accessory kit. I considered redoing them as the tanks appear to be capped. I decided not to change them and just move on to other things. I was told of the mining industry having caps in place while in use, but never found any images. Hi goon, thanks!
  3. @Ace, sorry forgot to answer. I have a 3D Systems Projet 3500HD Max. It can make parts with 16 micron resolution. I use Solidworks 2013 software. @Mike, it's a Trekker which is what replaced the McRC. @slusher, thanks!
  4. @DM, thanks! @Scale Dale, Well the put heavy things in all sorts for places, don't they... This welder is designed for installation on a work truck. You want I should build a wooden lift? @o-man, thanks! @Ace, Naw, this is thge guy you want to go off roading with. @Pappy, thanks! I used to build models as a kid. Now in my 50's I have returned with a little more patience and a lot more resources. This project has been very fun so far!
  5. This is a 64 Chevy Fleetside but the model is riding on a scratch built chassis and the drivetrain, axles, transfer case, etc, from an RC car. The chassis has full articulation as well. The rims and welder were made with a 3D printer. The battery that powers everything is hidden inside the welder. lol Thanks for watching!
