Always such fantastic presentation. I'm really a big fan of the Jeep Rod builds in both scale and 1:1. I was recently looking for the bits to make one myself. I'll surely be following this build. Great work!

Cool, ive just been using regular wire from michaels , maybe this will make the whole process easier from now on
The battery cable and the "radiator" hose are just regular household wire. But I haven't been able to figure out what he uses. Its all relatively cheap though so it works out.

Beautiful work! On both the models and the site. Always great seeing a fellow Ford lover.

Thanks for a bit of the ego stroke there Danny.
I figured starting a small Ford based community would be fun. Obviously, everyone is welcome. I appreciate those of you who have checked it out.

Finally getting some tangible work done on this project. Got the wheels painted, mounted and decal'd thanks to MsDano85gt. Got around to painting the chassis and testing fitting the wheels fitment. I have since shaved the inner hub of the wheel to fix the poke issue in the rear.
Before I mounted the rear end assembly for good, I wanted to have an exhaust system figured out. I decided to go with a Catless H-Pipe to the muffler section that will eventually get 90 degree turn-downs at the muffler. This is what I've come up with so far.
With the rear end in.
Thanks for looking, more updates soon!

I built few on the Mustang conv and 93 Cobra kits. What color did you decide on.
I haven't quite decided on the color yet. But I will be doing a factory color purchased through ScaleFinishes.com
Got some work done today.
Decided since this kit doesn't have any springs that i would make some. So I found some wire that would make for suitable springs, and then fashioned a tool to coil the wire evenly.
Terribly hot weather today, but certainly dry enough to get some paint work done.
Decided to wire the distributor boot. First time ever doing this.
And my accumulative work of the day.
Thanks for looking guys!

Hello again everyone,
Foxbody Mustangs have basically consumed my workbench as of recently. I got this one on eBay from a Thrift Store somewhere. The box was badly tattered, its missing the decal sheet, and it needs a set of wheels. But, the price was right and the car fit the mood.
So far I've stripped some chrome plating off of a bunch of engine components, started removing all the casting flash and seam lines from the body, and got the engine components to a point of primer. Big plans for this one guys!
Ruined box
Usable parts
New home
Ok, here's the work so far.
Waiting on some Pegasus Torque Thrust wheels, and should start the exhaust later today.
Stay tuned

its all the more motivation too to make a 85/ 86 gt since one was never kitted for whatever reason........
my current 1:1 saturn has never and probly never will have a model kit of it made
so therefore the mustang rules! I do have others besides foxes I do like others besides foxes but they are probly my favorite
You should see my current Mustang stash, its silly. lol

Get all you can now, it just serves as fuel for a 1:1 when the option becomes available.

Awesome builds! I have to say, you're the soul cause of my recent Foxbody infatuation.
I went from 1 in my stash, to 3 on my workbench all at once. haha

Window tinting is usually done with tinted clears. Tamiya is the brand I go with for all of my bottled translucent, but brand will be up to you. I believe a couple of niche companies may make a "window tint" paint, I cant remember.
Good build, cant wait to see the finished product.
