OK I hafta ask. Where did you get a photoetched GT and how much did that cost??

Buncha wise guys....

Kerry - this is just terrific!! I imagine there were several Chargers about like your rendition scattered about during the show's run. Excellent tribute! I've done a little melting and bending of plastic. Usually when it's hot, I press a rough rock into the panel - helps with the texture in the bend. Excellent work on the Charger!

Looks great! Man, you've got a lot of projects going on Teddy!
-
Yeah, what everyone else said!!

That's pretty sweet Teddy! I really admire your engine detail - the wiring looks great! I'm trying to fabricate a distributor and wires on my current project. It's not an easy task!

Between you and your brother - that turned out fantastic!! You definitely did it right this time!

Thank you ALL for so many really great suggestions! For now, it'll just keep its place in the "barn" until inspiration hits. I like a lot of the ideas from strapping it to a flatbed on its way to the shop (I've got a cool '40 pickup to tow it) to building some form of rat rod. Either way, the paint will stay as is.
Keep modeling my friends!

You hungry Jesse?

Thanks Skip. I really respect your perspective. Very well said. I'm in no hurry and have no plans for these parts, so for now at least, they just sit in a "junk" yard.

If it doesn't go against your better judgement of protecting your ID, it'd be great if folks would update their profile to reflect their age. I'm really curious what age range are on here and into the hobby. I've seen posts from a 15 year old and a 79 year old and everything in between. I promise not to laugh at your age!

I thought about that James. I'm not sure if this shell was a cab or a coupe or a sedan. I guess it wouldn't matter much and with a little effort, the cab back would work. I don't happen to have one at the moment ... but I'll be looking!

We all know how an alternator won't work, hanging out in space, supported by the fan belt, alone. But a lot of us still build them that way.
LOL! Been there!

That's exactly what's it's been up to this point and will continue to be, unless a great idea emerges!

This is one of the few parts I have left from my dad's old collection of models he gave me when I was a kid. I'd like to build something with it, but can't envision what.
The catch is, I really don't want to alter the paint on the body because it's many layers of paint he added when he was a kid. I like the look of it. The challenge for me is the open back of the shell... I'm not as attached to the front clip, although the layers of paint is pretty cool. If I use it, I'll likely repaint flat black...
Any great ideas out there?

Your friend will be thrilled! This turned out beautifully!
