Did you try to contact Revell, maybe they'd send you a new hood? A LONG LONG time ago I was building the Monte SS and the windshield broke, I sent a letter to the company, told them I would pay for it, but they just sent me a new one no charge. THIS IS RIGHT FROM REVELLS WEBSITE: "Revell's Parts Policy is in place to provide our customers with a quality building experience and was developed to assist with replacing parts that may be missing or broken. Please contact Customer Service at 1-800-833-3570 or cservice@revell.com to request a part replacement."

Hi there... I have have giving some thought to getting back into the hobby and the thought crossed my mind of customization; many of you use resin parts, but is there a way to mold your own styrene parts, other then say a vacuum former, forming both halves and glueing together? Thanks Brian

What do you guys do with the model once it's built? 20 years ago I used to build but I ran out of more for the finished ones. I had like three 8 foot shelves and they were door to door all the way down the shelves then they were coated in dust and I ened up throwing them away. Just curious what you guys do, sell them maybe?

I started playing video games back in 1983 with the ATARI 2600, then Nintendo NES....all the way until now with a XBOX 360/ONE/PS4; I am 37. I build my first 1/24 1/25 model back in 1988 and built all the way until about 1992ish. Once I started driving with my first car 1984 Camaro T-Top and girls started chasing me, I seem to have lost interest in modeling...weird huh, who would have thought that would happen I am really thinking about getting back into the hobby after watching countless youtube videos on guys builds!
