Thank you sir! Guess I'll make this a two for one thread, been working on the 352 interior. I tried playing around with the airbrush to paint the blue and green. -

Got her on her own ten feet today lol. Also I got a sudden urge to build a 352 a few weeks ago, so I've been doing both trucks at the same time. -

Haven't done much more, but I decided to repainted the engine because I thought the weathering was overdone. I experimented with some baking soda to get a little texture in the rust this time. -
Great work

Thanks Pavel. I also painted the frame yesterday, now it needs some weathering as well. -

Thanks Pavel, that is a good idea. I used metal wire for the brake lines because I had some laying around, but it was hard to work with because it's not as flexible. -
I've only been working on this one here and there now that the weather is getting nicer. This time I tried adding some simple air lines for the brakes and suspension, and some fuel and return lines on the engine. I want to try and do a little weathering to make it look like a nicely maintained working truck.

Thank you

Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy how it turned out for my first attempt. It was a real nice kit, everything fit together pretty well as it should. I never really looked twice at one of these trucks, but now I think I've developed a soft spot for them lol.

No prob, I ordered it from Summit Racing.

Ya it's Duplicolor alpine green.

It's rust oleum "gloss fern" green. It was the most '70's shade that I could find at Lowes, lol. My original plan was to just paint it solid dark blue, but I found a few pics of trucks with this stripe, so I decided to go for it.

Thanks guys, the paint job is far from show quality, but for a first attempt I'm happy with it. I learned some things to improve the next time.

Hello, new guy here. I got back into modeling for the first time since I was a kid this year. It was far too brutal of a winter to do anything to my real truck, haha. My wife bought me this kit as a Hanukkah gift and I've had a great time building it.
