  1. I think you should just stick with Revell. Most other companies seem to be 30-35$ range, while Revell sells cars of all years, 50-present for around $20 each. I will stick with Revell for a while.
  2. Yeah, I have already changed a few things. I really dislike orange, so I decided that instead of orange, I'll paint my engine block red, as I feel that is a nicer color for an old car.
  3. Again, thank you so so much, you give a ton of information in such a small post that really helps. I just skipped past the first few pages thinking that it was all copyright information and such, just skipping to assembly, and now I assembled the whole engine and the carburetor without painting them... I'm gonna have fun trying to paint this as a unit I guess I could use tape?
  4. Hey guys, I'm working on my 1958 Corvette Roadster (My first model car, I've only done engines and planes before), and I'm' wondering, what do I do about the painting? I'll put a picture of my engine in below, but do I just paint by my discretion, or is there instructions on the book somewhere? I'm looking at my kit booklet, and I only see assembly instructions. Mainly, my question is, do I paint the internal parts, and do I choose all the colors, or is there instructions? ( I obviously know I could choose the colors if I wanted to.)
  5. Thanks for all the help, but I finally realized that I need to go to the bottom part in order to put the starter and fuel pump on... I'm attempting to put the starter and fuel pump on the bare engine block itself... Thanks guys! I'll use your pictures after I finish this next step, scott!
  6. I understand, but I can't tell what the dots are pointing at, because it doesn't look like the engine, thanks for the help though
  7. Thank you so much. I've literally never had anybody on any forum help me so quickly and so kindly. Tomorrow I'll add everything and really get started
  8. Also, guess I can't edit post? So here's a picture of the engine, what I'm assuming the starter and fuel pump go on. I just want someone to tell me if/where they go on the engine so I can move on with my model corvette.
  9. Hello fellow model builders. I'm new to building models and such, and what a surprise, I'm stuck on the first step of my Revell 58' Corvette Roadster! I got the engine together just fine (First part of step one), but there is a starter and a fuel pump, and I can't tell what they're supposed to go on... If someone could help me that'd be great. Here's some pictures of the manual/booklet so you know what I'm talking about. Sorry if they're a bit blurry, I took them using my laptop's built-in webcam, so don't expect high-quality 1080p pictures
