Finished chipping. Next is a dull coat and then weathering.

Finally removed tape. As you can see it took the base coat with it in some spots, so I'll have some touching up to do before I start chipping and weathering

I just notice the above pictures are in reverse order. And yet more masking.

I don't think I have ever masked this much in my life. Gee wiz. Added second color but that just means more masking. Not as much but some. Then I can start weathering.

This thing is a beast to paint. Never painted anything this big before and it wore me out.

Done some putty work tonight. I noticed when looking at pictures for reference that the nose was smooth but the model had a channel down the center. I filled it in. More sanding to come.

Started a new model while my Jag paint job cures. I thought this model was going to be cheesy but the more I work on it the more I like it. I added a wire to the forward spot light. First time at trying to glue and sand seam lines. So here's a before and after.

I believe that is what happened. I have a new one on order and should get it tomorrow (Thursday) but it's an expensive little runt. Speaking of brushes lasting with care, I have a paasche that I've used for 25 years. Not one issue except for a cracked tip.....go figure.

Yes I have dismantled it and given it a thorough cleaning. All it does is the blow back. This thing is spotless clean. I have come to the conclusion that this thing is just a piece of junk.

I hope someone can help. Last night I had a major paint spill while painting a model. There was a major clog and I tried a back flow and it went everywhere. Finally got it working and there was still a lot of paint in my cup so I kept going. When I finished I dismantled my Iwata cleaned it and put it back together. Now it will not spray. When I press the button down I get air (dual action) but when I pull back there is air but no paint and it bubbles back into the cup (doing the back flow thing) any help would be really appreciated.
