  3. Ok I was just curious..I am using a Tamiya Flat red for the interior of my Countach
  4. Attatched are a few pictures of the Camaro I have been working on. I used duplicolor Bahama Blue Metallic with Duplicolor clear. Question, is it possible to lay the stripe decals down and then put another coat of clear over it? Also used Model Master Leather and Dark Tan for the interior. I will be cutting off the air box to the intake tubing and ordering a CAI for it from the Model Meister. I also attempted to prime the underside and use the blue paint for a factory overspray but didnt do to well. http://model-meister.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=74&osCsid=21f1e908995fa49e9d74026c3e146f9a What do you guys think so far?
  5. What brand of red paint did you use for the interior and what shade of red is it? Did you cut the S/Cer snout off?
  6. Question, I have been to Hobby Lobby and Hobby Town here in Colorado Springs... they both do not carry the textured type of carpet you lay on the floor of the model. Can anyone guide me in the right direction as to which one to use....I see the model master simulated carpet but is there any other type of brand? I am looking for red
  7. That is really nice...the red and gunmetal type color go really good together.

  11. Hey guys, just started working on this kit yesterday, first by washing off the body in some dawn dish soap and a light 800 grit wet sand to scuff the body up. Well, this morning I go to spray the third coat of Tamiya white primer...I inspect it all first blow the body off with compressed air and went to spray the third coat...well after I was finished I cleared the spray noxxle..went to inspect the final coat of prier and I see 2 pieces of lint or fuzz above the headlight holes...I ws about to use my tweezer to pull it off but I didnt want to mess it up. What are your recomendations to remove this without ruining or concaving the primer so it is even? Here is a picture, hope it's not too blurry..if you tild the screen a bit you can see the fuzz hehe
  12. Right on, looking forward to see to progression.
  13. That's cool man! My first car was a 1985 Cavalier....I bought it for $1000 cash back in 1994...it was clean

My questin is what brush did you use to get into the intricate parts IE the interior vent rings, around the gauges etc. Sorry for bringing up an old thread..just did a search thats all...Here is a teaser....btw, any veterans post in here? I am no pro by any means ...just a disabled dysfunctional army vet loving this hobby .....keeps me at ease
