ratrodder, the engine is a GMC supercharged 16 cylinder 2 cycle diesel.Says it held 64 qts of oil!
Steve, the $ value of the paint will probably be close to the cost of the model Actually I', using Krylon so it's like 3 times as much as Testors for the same price
Jaffa,no idea on the size but here's a pic of the bed by my daughter's vette she's building
Got some more done this evening but I'm not posting anymore pics until I can get some paint on it.

Wanting to get a pro stock kit for a donor for its tires/wheels and engine.Would prefer a chevy since it's going to a chevy truck Was wondering which kit had the best of the above mentioned items.
Thanks,

Looks good.I have a question tho.Why did you cut the slots in the rear of the roof? Was it to help reshape the rear of the top by making it lay flatter?
-

Well I really don't see what was so negative in his comment either.I mean he didn't name any names of the maker of it.Plus if someone gets something that is not what they feel is a decent product I would like to know anyhow.I don't have a wealth of money to throw to sub-standard modeling products.
I too look foward to seeing the completion of this build.
