  2. The story of this one starts with my wife (her name is Sonia) asking me to build this one for her, as she likes suv´s, jeeps and pickups...until having all parts painted, everything went very slow because of my care and dedication to do a fine and realistic model for her.... Because of 2010 IPMS Rio contest, I finished it in a hurry so I could enter the contest....on friday night I was glueing parts and as you know finishing stage is the most slow because of many details to be done....I went thru the night and 7:20 in the morning I could finish it. Just slept 2 hours and then went to the contest....a friend of mine that came from another state and was hosted in my house got scared with my easiness to avoid sleeping. The big surprise was that I got my first medal, and really didn´t expect because it was the first time I joined a contest....and surprise was bigger because it was the first place medal !!! Comments are welcome... Carrying home the trophy !!
  3. Lambo Diablo and Honda NSX are the ones I love.....this one really shows the beauty of the real car.
  4. Very nice......I have the Superamerica kit and yours will be a reference....
  5. Very nice build, Keith.....I am building the ESCI one....the difference is rear cowl is opened but engine detail is not so good. Mine is being painted lime green from Kawasaki
  6. Very fine, Dominik.....I have this kit and mine will be bright yellow...hope it ends so good looking as yours.
  7. Very fine, man....I built a Sonoma SLS for my wife...soon I will post it here... Congratulations for this nice work !!
  8. Color is Silk Cut Purple from Jaguar sponsorship....just added seatbelt photoetcheds and custom plate from USA Mazda Cup Comments are welcome...
  9. A friend of mine gave me a junkyard of this kit and I promised him that I would turn it into a decent work.... The roof was broken, the sunroof was missing, tires were not fitting into wheels, dashboard decals missing, rear lights lenses were smaller than the holes....so I went deep in my box of extra parts... The kit box... The inspiration...WALD version The beggining...it was a hard work to remove side mirrors so they didn´t mess doors polishing.... Wheels from Revell Dodge Magnum... And in the end.....not so bad...I hope !!....sunroof and side glass were made with window film to look more closely to dark glass... And that´s all, folks !!
  10. Zarana, I only changed the wheels...the tires are the original ones and the rubber was in perfect condition. The Dakar version is very fine looking also....
  11. Dominik, it´s 1:24...the decal on hood was intentioned to make the car more different that it already is.....hehe Thank you all, guys....I am enjoying a lot seeing many great builds on this section. It inspires me to go to the bench and increase production.
  12. This one was the longest build of mine.....almost one year to finish it.....the engine support broke and until today I didn´t find another kit of this to replace it....not big deal... NIGHT VERSION !!
  13. First time I saw this kit was at a friend´s house and after this I pursued it for almost two years...as soon as it arrived I started to build. Kit doesn´t have mirror and wipers, so I added them to look more closely to real one.
  14. Tried to make something similar to Mikka Hakkinen special edition....just added metal stickers and seatbelt photoetcheds. Red parts were painted with fluorescent red automotive paint, but unfortunately pics doesn´t show real effect.
  15. One more....out of box...just added exhaust tips and seat belt photoetcheds.....as headlights didn´t have the inner shell, I used cigarrette foil to create reflexion effect....wheels from Fujimi. Comments are welcome...
  16. Some crazy stuff on this one....totally out of box, just added custom decals made by a friend and the carbon fiber on hood. Comments are welcome...
  17. Let´s go again... Wheels are from a BMW 320 diecast...the fitting was very close to Fujimi standard and didn´t need to do great mods. Two mistakes......first was the size of flakes on paint.....I painted it at night and in the morning I realized the real effect....as it was already done, I decided not to put it at brake fluid. Second one was lefting PE to be painted after glueing.....i got lazy after this and didn´t make it. Comments are welcome...
  18. Thank you guys... Obrigado, Túlio...
  19. Hello, guys...one more from my collection....finished this one in december 2014.... Suspension is very high so I had to lower it but is is very easy..... Comments are welcome...
  20. Thank you all guys..... Mine is third I saw assembled....first one was on Google search for "Fujimi FTO" and second one was on a french forum... One of the basic capabilities of modeling is to know how to hide the mistakes !! Zarana, I am almost finising the Revell Eclipse and soon will post some pictures....
