Hello everyone. Thank you for this great forum. Ive been into cars since my earliest memory of standing in my neighbors driveway, look at his green 1968 Mercury Cougar in diapers. Had a few street cars, and was in the process of building a 1971 Camaro when funds went low and watching the car sit in the garage more than at the strip killed it for me. I made models here and there and then I discovered the bad ass world of rc nitro drag racing in the late 90s. I won 3 champoinships, set a few records (I still have the quickest and fastest .12 powered pro stock since 2006) and I am an innovator, building my own chassis and helped steered nitro rc drag racing to where it is today. But that is all business, with not much creativity, other than making them scream. Im a metal fabricator by trade, I weld and turn screws and my idea of vacation involves nitro and trying my best to blow stuff up. I havent built a model car in years, and have decided to get into it. I never do anything half ass so when I dive into something, its at full force and I havent taken baby steps on anything since I was 18 months old lol. I have some equipment, and Im sure Ill need alot more. My first attempt will be at the Foose 69, built to X275 specs. I am beyond impressed with the builds on this forum. That 1/24 scale Henry........there is no words to describe to talent that gentlemen has, I almost cant believe it. If he didnt post pics next to that wheat cent, I would have called it bs lol. And the unforunate events for the gentlemen building the 1/16 57 PM was heart breaking. These two guys helped push me into giving this a shot. I have the patience, and a bit of skills, and I hope to learn more from you guys and to help when I can. Thanks
