Rob Zombie used one in one of his horror movies. Looks great!
Found on the Internet Movie Car Database (imcdb.org).
If you can get past the lack of 1:1 examples (I can), go for it! Enjoy the build.

Hmmm. You might be onto something. I've been trying to figure out what to do with mine. Decals, wheels, and tires from the spares box, lights from the Johan Fury, siren from God knows where, some weathering, and voila!

The Blues Brothers film is several decades old at this point and the sequel wasn't particularly well-received IIRC, and even that one is a couple of decades old.

FWIW there is a 1:24 diecast of the Bluesmobile.

There also is a 1:32 scale slot car by Scalextric.

I'm not a fan of the GL 1:24 diecast, it always seemed a little off to me. And as esoteric a subject matter as the Bluesmobile, it is still MUCH more well known than the Black Beauty, who NO ONE would have predicted would be produced. Count me in for a case of Bluesmobile kits!

I do agree with you on the sequel. Other than the music and the car pile up, blecch!

The '68 Plymouth Fury 4-door appears to be an original Jo-Han kit, not an Okey Spaulding re-pop.  It looks like it has clear glass.  All the Spaulding kits had green-tinted glass, as far as I know.  I have one built (by somebody else) and one still in the box.  Both have the whole glass piece tinted green.

The Spaulding kits also came with vacuformed clear glass as well as the green.

Question for the experts out there, the lights on the light bar call for clear red which I don't have. No hobby shops in my area anymore and currently under lockdown here again so not much open. Called a few shops hours away and one had some but said shipping would be 18 dollars which I told him it would be a frosty day in hell before I pay that much shipping for paint.

My question is their any way to thin red paint enough and if so how much mixture should I use or just paint it red and be done with it?

Tamiya makes a nice clear red, I use it all the time. Amazon has it for $5.69 with free shipping in the US, I don't know about Canada.
