Again Greg, Good stuff. I've always wanted to build one of the imc-Testors 48 ford but haven't. On the bucket list. Thanks. Jeff

RatRod, good info on the lill gasser, Thanks. Also, good info on the pure oil firebird brand as I never knew that they merged into become the Union 76 company. All good stuff and I always like to learn a new thing or two. Thanks. Jeff
And, That firebird picture does look great!

X2 on this one. I see a very expensive future for me ( and probably for a lot of other people too )
Thanks for posting this. Jeff

Wow, talk about reading my mind. A mid 70'S camaro would be great. I remember in the early 80ies I had a ( I think ) basic camaro kit that was not a z28 and it was molded in a tan- beige color. Just cannot remember anything else about it other than that it was your basic berlanneta camaro and I wish we could have it back. Also, I was watching some pro stock racing from 1980 with Reher and Morris with Lee Shepherd and would be great to build one of their camaro's from that period. Thanks. Jeff

Moebius has always had my vote. I am very grateful for all the model kit company's as I truly love this hobby of ours. Also, Ron Hamilton, those look great. Thanks. Jeff

Thank you for pulling this thread back up as I definitely have found it to be very good. Just learned a lot about this Buick that I never knew. Have not built one yet but that's going to change. Again, great thread and Thank you. Jeff

I can show what I did with that Pacer Wagon.
Note, the wood-grain is Balsa border & Contact paper insert
I saw one at the local Safeway/Thriftway when I was getting ready to build, and duplicated that car
That's great. I remember the pacer like it was yesterday and that one looks just like the pacer that used to be down the street from me. Thanks for showing this one. Jeff

Now that is gorgeous. Nice job on that baby.
Thanks. Jeff

I absolutely love their announcement video every month and I think that the kid does a good job at reviewing the new kits. Highly applaud them and look forward to the next show. Jeff
Thank God that I have better things to do than bash some kid showing us some kits

Mooneyzs, you can second that as I truly appreciate and agree with any and all information on a scam artist and that is what I think of when I hear about someone not getting what they have paid for. I am 1000% in agreement with everything that you have stated and you are totally in the right with me. I appreciate anyone who posts there bad experience with buying or doing business with a business, company or a person who does not live up to there end of the deal as it will save a lot of good people a ton of grief. Thank you. Jeff

Thanks Guys I appreciate the information on the General mills and Mpc partnership as I knew a little bit but not this much. I never try to stop learning and when it comes to the car kits, I'm all ears for everything. Again Thank you. Jeff

Totally agree with Ace - Garageguy, she did one fine job on that Truck. I have never built one but have heard that the kit is not easy to build. Really, Really nice build and Thank you for sharing this with us. Also, The air filter is absolutely great and I'd love to see how you made it. Thank you. Jeff

WRONG!!!
Only The P-L kit has the flashers molded to the grill
(Both ARE Incorrect, though less so on the AMT 1A version)
It also has the Bullit tail lights molded to the bumper!!
The Polar Lights kit should only have the UIpper pair of Strobe flashers
as The Original Ecto-1 had those, but No lights below
AMT's kit as 1A should have a Double wide Amber Dash light on the Left side
Not 2 Identical pieces as offered
Also, smaller detail parts that are separate in the interior of the AMT 1A kit are
molded in place in the P-L kit!
I have Both, so I do Know this!!!
Both bodies have flanges, etc that need to be removed, as well as
areas to be filled in to make a Stock Ambulance or Hearse!!
I have an AMT I started this conversion on
Preferable to make the car as first seen in Primer gray & black!!!!
And YES, I hope to eventually do some more conversions on the kits, but...............
I can post some pic's of my kits/Builds if wanted.
(I have else where here, but can again
Absolutely, please post some pictures. I would love to see them. Thanks. Jeff

Thanks for sharing this with us Chuck. Revell has been knocking them out of the park over the past few years and I can only hope that it will continue. Good stuff and again Thank you.
