Thanks all! I've always liked these old boats, one of my favorite cars of all time. Now, if I could only find a model of a '71 Buick Riviera!

    2006 Mustang

Hey Steve, glad to be here! Thanks for the kind words. As for posting the green Monte, done.
  14. Thanks Robyn! I was kind of disappointed with how the paint came out. I thought it was going to be darker than that, like a burgundy. I should have used grey primer, but oh well, you live, you learn, you keep building.

    '78 Monte Carlo

Thanks guys! lol, yeah, my wife was making fun of me when I was taking those pics. She said I looked like a little kid playing with toy cars. Of course, that's pretty much what she says everytime I work on a model.

    Tamiya Supra

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Yeah, that's the way I like 'em! I've always liked the look of the last gen Supra, except for the stock spoiler. If I owned a 1:1 Supra, this is how I would want it to look.
  17. This started out as an old beat up dealer promo, now it's an ugly green Lowrider! The color is tamiya Candy Green, i think that's the name of the color, I can't remember. The wheels are Pegasus.
  18. This started out as the old Monogram '86 Monte Carlo SS kit. To convert it to an LS, I shaved the rear spoiler, and the chin-spoiler sections on the front fenders off. I also shaved the door handles. I added the taillights and rear bumper from the '87 Monte Carlo AeroCoupe, and a resin LS front clip from ScaleLows.com . The sunroof is from the Revell Custom Caddy Lowrider kit, and the exhaust tips are scratchbuilt from aluminum tubing. The color is Tamiya Mica Red over white primer. For the interior, I removed the center console, and added a modified bench seat from the Revell Caprice Police Car. I made a column shifter from a pin with a white ball on the end. The steering wheels is from my parts-box. Hope you guys like it!

    Tamiya Supra

This was my first Tamiya kit, and I gotta say, I was quite impressed! The color is Bright Platinum Metallic lacquer from Testors, the wheels are Pegasus, and the exhaust tip is from the Revell Integra. I also added Audiobahn subs from a Jada die-cast. Hope you all like it!
  20. I built this one a couple years ago, from the Revell kit. The paint is all Testors Custom Lacquer from a can. The colors are black, Light Gray Metallic, and Go Mango. The wheels are from the Revell "California Wheels" Chevelle, steering wheel is from the AMT '67 Impala.

I built this one about 2 years ago. The color is Citrus Yellow lacquer by Testors. The wheels are Aoshima with scratch-built dust-covers. Hope you like it!
  22. Hey everyone! This is my first post on this forum, looks like a cool place to hang out! This is an old MPC '72 Pontiac Grand Prix. The color is Sunrise Red Pearl lacquer from Testors. The wheels are Pegasus, and the steering wheel is from my parts-box.
