Thanks I have been a member of this site for 1 month I find that few people in this forum take chances or try very creative builds except for just a handful most are involved with detail I wish Icould see some more far out stuff. ARE any out here ? My photos are not the greatest and my bui lds are not up to skill level with some of the modelers in the forum but then again models are miniature copies of the real thing they represent. I ,being an artist and car designer use this media to see new ideas, new concepts and all purely for fun Ralph

Thanks all Yes as Craig states GM used a lot of styling ideas from this car and when I converted the toy version I found that the 57 Cad parts helped me to covert it into a fairly convincing model Ralph

I Have always love the motorama show cars since my dad took me to see them when I was a kid This model shows the LeSabre in its later form, they redid it in I think 1955 or 1956 .This model started out as a plastic toy ... I found that it was close to 1/18 scale and by adding the sabre wheels ,seats etc. from a diecast Cadillac, painting it with my airbrush with a mix close to the color of the real car .....Let me know what you think I am sure that Harley Earl would love it. Hello I am a 74 year old kid.LOVE CARS and MODEL CARS I have been building models for over 60 years , have built many 1:1 cars that were trophy winners as well. As a teen I could never build a model without altering almost everything. Started customizing my 40 Ford conv.I made $ pinstriping and scalloping cars to go on dates and to build my rides and went on to be an art teacher and pro artist .To me ,my models are sculpture, and have exhibited them alongside my paintings and 3d work as well as in car shows My stuff is a little FAR OUT....I know THEY ARE MADE TO SIMPLY ENJOY if you have questions I AM HERE RALPH
