  3. THESE REALLY WORK!! I checked this out on Snopes and it's for real! AMAZING, SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES: 1. AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF WHEN SLICING VEGETABLES BY GETTING SOMEONE ELSE TO HOLD THE VEGETABLES WHILE YOU CHOP. 2. AVOID ARGUMENTS WITH THE FEMALES ABOUT LIFTING THE TOILET SEAT BY USING THE SINK. 3. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF AND BLEED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO SET A TIMER. 4. A MOUSE TRAP PLACED ON TOP OF YOUR ALARM CLOCK WILL PREVENT YOU FROM ROLLING OVER AND GOING BACK TO SLEEP AFTER YOU HIT THE SNOOZE BUTTON. 5. IF YOU HAVE A BAD COUGH, TAKE A LARGE DOSE OF LAXATIVES; THEN YOU'LL BE AFRAID TO COUGH. 6. YOU NEED ONLY TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE. 7. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN THEY'RE PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.
  4. The IMC Avenger kit was based on their Volkswagon kit with a different body.http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/imc/imc-volkswagen-stoc/
  5. Lots of stuff here http://www.avenger-valkyrie.org/

The Fiberfab Avenger GT http://www.avenger-valkyrie.org/general.htm quintessential kit car of the '60's , certainlly following design ques from the Le Mans Ford GT40's.Had nothing to do with the TV show. These were for the most part VW "rebodies".Earlier kit cars of this eilk were built on stock Ford, Studebaker or even Jeep chassis with V8 power. Kellison GT Astra
  7. Thanks Gaute, how did I miss that Iconic vehicle? And you are correct on the Excalibur. http://www.mcsmk8.com/79-EXCAL/79-EXCALIBUR.html
  8. Evidently back in the '70's, one could buy parts to "Fly" your Big GM cars like this.
  9. Not sure if there was a 1:1 version of this Revell kit by Dean Jefferies.

  15. First off I realize there is really no agreeable definition of these terms. So lets just get to the model kits that represent these types of cars. A resent reissue, AMT's Piranha Super Spy Car got me thinking about these cars. another "Kit Car" from IMC, the Avenger Another old hard to find Replica ? from Bandi , the Excalibur,
  16. Sorry you feel that way. The "Across the pond" comment must have got you hooked. Sorry there weren't more British cars to look at.
  17. Thanks Gerry. That certainly clears up the age old question: " What's in the box?"
  18. The instructions look like the "coil sprung" 427 we all know and love. I think you are refering to this kit. Which did ,indeed, have the older style "leaf spring" chassis with the later 427 style body. The chassis was a very near knock off of the early AMT 289 kit.
