  1. Ok, we all have opinions right or wrong. Two guys get all fired up in road rage, right or wrong. The press/ media are making the most of this, right or wrong. We've all said our piece, right or wrong. I think we've just about covered it.
  2. Well said Roger. I agree
  3. Nope, nothin' wrong there . . .
  4. Ok, lets make this a little easier. http://www.lastsummer.com/wagon/dbase.html
  5. Auto maintenance wasn't the same to all when I went to high school ('61- '65) While doing a little week end maintenance on my '56 Chevy, a friend pulled up in his 1950 Ford coupe. "Hey, whatcha doin'?" "Changing the oil" "Why would you do that?" after a short discussion on the matter we walked over to his ride and popped the hood, after awhile my friend found the dip stick and gave it a good tug. It came out leaving a nice little rectangular slot where it fit. Of course we noticed there was no oil on the dip stick. At this point he said he just added a quart ever other fuel stop.
  6. After talking to my wife about this I came to the realization this incident reflects what goes on on our roads on a daily basis, "Road Rage" with no thought to the consequences.
  7. Right or wrong, I used to have this discussion with my High School students, " A car pulls out in front of a truck, who do you think wins?, A truck pulls onto the tracks in front of a speeding train, who wins? " In this case a brave young man climbs out of his race car in his black driving suit at a dirt track in the night to confront another driver and steps onto the raceway in front of oncoming cars. He was lucky he didn't get hit by the blue car. Who wins? Sadly no one. By the way, the discussion with my students was brought on by another one of my students that stepped out in front of several cars on the road in front of the school. He didn't win either.

  11. Lots going on here, First my usual smart a**ed answer in pictures of course. Then a serious thought, What would be most popular thus sell kits thus be more likely to see production, and that would be Don Banes' call on the '57 Ford and the '57 Chevy Next up, Joe, that ain't no station wagon, it'sa Van A Bread Van. Let's see , station wagon ? What station wagon have I had in my life? Oh yeah, my dad bought a brand new Black 1961 6 cylinder automatic Ford with no air to drive cross country to Tucson Arizona in the summer. Nope, didn't work out to well. Next up for me anyway was my return from your Uncle Sam's Navy in 1974 need something cool that both the wife and I could drive. And Jason Smith says how about one of these ? Right color and all. You'd think I'd have learned from my dad, yep we got an automatic. wasn't too bad.
  12. You're preachin' to the choir brother. My first car was a 1931 Model A. I think Bernard hit it " the Deuce, as the last of the "verticals", is the most appealing, with a nice flow to its lines," Hot Rodders like the way it looks.
  13. Snap. "All New Tool" http://www.round2models.com/models/mpc/dukes-hazzard-charger "Brand New Tool."
  14. You don't think the '32 being a "one year" production car built at the height of the depression may have had something to do with it ?
