  1. Fantastic! Great job!
  2. Really, really nice! Excellent job!
  3. Nice! That colour is awesome!
  4. Gee, I hope the paramedics got him to Rampart ontime! And I guess by then Eddie was on the LAPD!
  5. Thanks Jeff! I couldn't have said it better myself! All the best!
  6. Thanks George! I remember that too, so I did look up the Chevy colors from that time period, and went with what felt right. I can only imagine what "sick purple" looks like. The thing that killed me about Lumpy's car was there always seemed to be something wrong with it and he was always going to the dump to get parts, but the car actually always looked really good! At least the Lump kept it clean!
  7. Thanks! I've seen alot of your work on Youtube. Great stuff! Lumpy's Ford would be cool too!
  8. Hey Lloyd! Thanks! I'm in St. Catharines.
  9. Thanks Mark. As some have pointed out, the actual car was a 53 Chevy rather than a 51 as I built. Regardless, it was a fun build, and I got to try some things I've never done before, and I certainly hope I've captured the spirit of Wally's car. It's still an awesome show, some of the greatest dialogue ever! Have a great day!
  10. Wally Cleaver's Chevy from the AMT 51 Chevy kit. Loads of fun,and had to take some dramatic licence because its very hard to find still images of the car. I had to watch epidodes, and I don't have the ability to screen capture so I kinda had to work from memory, and in the case of the interior, I had to use my imagination. Used lots of artist pastels and sealed that with hairspray, but at least Wally can now take Mary Ellen Rogers to the prom.
  11. I have heard the story of MaGarrett's Parklane, and that is a car I'd love to see in person. So glad it is being preserved! I've always liked the 2dr Lincoln Continental from the mid-70's, a 2dr so big its hood is like a flightdeck! It's funny, during the energy crisis the muscle cars got smaller, but the sedans and luxury cars got bigger and bigger!
  12. I love the way McGarrett just drives the heck out of his cars! Anyway, a resin kit would be cool. Over the decades there have been some really cool 4dr cars, and no kits of them. I think that would open up a whole new area for people who want to affordably build movie/TV vehicles, more vehicles from their past in general, and the broadening of using ones imagination. Even Ward Cleaver drove a couple of nice cars that would look nice on the shelf!
  13. Thanks! My Holy Grail would be McGarrett's 68 Parklane. Maybe some day... Aloha!
  14. Sweet! Fantastic paint job! Great looking car!
  15. This build was a lot of fun, and I got to watch alot of classic Hawaii Five-0 as a bonus as research. The kit is the AMT Police Interceptor. I didn't really do any modifying other than the HPD colour scheme and shield that I found online. I did grubby up the backseats however, to take into account the number of murderers, pushers, pimps, hookers, syndicate hoods and mainland torpedoes who have passed through it's reardoors, not to mention, Wo Fat whom I'd like to think took his last ride in such a car. And I did make the mic button red. Book 'em Danno! Murder One! Four counts!
  16. Beautiful build! With a great backstory! Like it a lot!
  17. Thanks Peter! The Star Trek builds took months of work, and I am very happy with the results! I've got more cars and Star Trek stuff I'm working and planning on that I hope to be posting soon! Thanks again.
  18. Thanks everyone for the great welcome!!
  19. Awesome!
  20. Hey! I live in St. Catharines.
  21. Nice! Very cool! Great job!
  22. Hi, I'm Craig from Southern Ontario. I started building models(poorly) as a kid, but stopped, you know high school, college, life in general. A number of years ago I was diognosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; I suffer from depression and anxiety. About a year and a half ago I started building models again, and it has been a terrific therapy. I mostly build cars, especially Mustangs, but I've built some other stuff too. Here's a sample of some of my recent favourites: 68 Mustang Bullitt 2013 Boss 302 Goldfinger DB5 and 641/2 Mustang Hawkeye and Trapper go Golfing Dirty Mary Crazy Larry Charger AMT's USS Enterprise Bridge Little Nellie AMT 18" Enterprise with lots of after market parts Just completed: 2015 Mustang Bullitt, from the Revell Snap Kit. I hope you enjoy my stuff, I sure look forward to looking at all your work, I find it very inspirational!
