  1. I don't get all that much time to work on this thing but I removed a piece of trim that I didn't like..
  2. Which one is this? I like that Quite a bit.
  3. Its the Quicksilver, and of course on the side panels
  4. I bought an old monogram kit (1973) and the decal sheet was lying face down on the instruction manual. there is just a small spot that is stuck to the instructions. I am thinking steam to get it off of there? any other ideas? not sure that I will build it any time soon but I want the decals free
  5. So my Brother passed away 5 years ago, and in his stuff was this funky rollback truck, My Dad passed 2 years ago and under his house in the storage area I found an old cobra. Decided to put them together.. think I'll keep them this way.
  6. Yeah I was kinda hoping for a "steel" wheel that fits on the kit without the cap that isn't a 13" wheel like the kit comes with.
  7. Do the wheels have detail under the caps?
  8. Picked up some whitewalls from Pegasus, they fit pretty well.
  9. Bought some tires from Pegasus, they fit the Mobius wheels fine, just a tad taller than stock. Happy Camper.
  10. They had it at micheals, looks like a worn epoxy floor I thought
  11. Does anyone else have a little area that looks garagish that you set the cars in you are working on? The base of a cabinet I am using in the back of my workbench is such a place, I am not going into a bunch of detail, but its nice to set the cars somewhere that looks nice between work sessions..
  12. Bad pic, looked much better with the 2nd coat till it all came off
  13. I used Tamiya flat white on my Mobius tires for my f100 and as soon as I tried to put the wheels in they cracked and popped right off. was able to rub with my thumbnail and remove all of it.
  14. Doesn't seem like polly scale is available anymore. What are you guys using now?
  15. Great job, Like the crashed nova
  16. Playing with the chassis a little bit, found that because the axle is so low, the tie rod goes exactly where the crank pulley goes. I cut it out and replaced the middle part with a paper clip bent to clear the crank pulley when you turn in reach direction. Motor is in place, not going to do much more to the motor since you can't see it anyway. Bed floor is painted.
  17. Definitely what I am working towards. I'll get both sides all fitted, then probably paint everything and install the doors before I complete the rest of the assembly. (Instructions call putting the doors on pretty much last.)
  18. Starting to fit up doors, this is gonna be work! So it seems like I have to move the opening in the lower part of the body up, to make the hinge/kick panel deal fit right. Got the drivers side moved up, test fit with the dash.
  19. Little bit more done, do most people attach the doors earlier in the build than the instructions show? Any one know where to find some rattle can petty blue?
  20. Opened a few boxes that have been sealed for many years and pulled out some old kits, thought maybe someone would want to see. Many many more boxes to go, Should have all the missing parts for these somewhere. Suggestions for cleanup on these?
  21. Been playing a bit with a Dodge A100 Little Red Wagon, Going for a stock version but lowered. I have been away for many years but have been doing a little bit each evening after work. Did a spring under front and rear to lower it, Funny it still dosent seem too low but wouldn't be able to go much more without major surgery (I'm not ready for that yet.)
  22. Yes, I have a Early Bronco, a ford C600, Fairlane 427, Dodge A100, 48 ford convert, and a chopped tall T. Have a auto hauler trailer for the C600 to hold them all once I get there. Trying to focus on the F100, but the A100 is so cool.
