  1. Have a question about the street funnies series, it has to do with the Zoomie headers, from pictures I've located on the web, I see no way that they actually hook up to the engine and stick out under the doors. So question is, do they in anyway hook into the exhaust system or, are they just glued to the floor board? I have some older MPC kits that I want to build as street funnies. Thanks

  3. Man those front tires are WIDE...are you sure they will be able to turn tucked up in there? BUT I LIKE it..
  4. Thanks for the welcome. I'm having a heck of a time with this site, my screen says I'm signed in, but it will not show a post box, so I try to sign out and it will not let me. Then I go onto a different computer to sign in, that works as long as I don't switch from one forum to another, this its sign in time again.....Is it always like this?
  5. Update: Got the front axle built, was a bit fun trying to keep it all in order while I assembled it, but its there, just need the steering put in. Now on to the rear, thinking I will have a PTO coming out the back so I can run a sawmill, hay bailer, or just put on a prop and back down into the lake and make rooster tails.
  6. Thanks.. Well the weathering went something like this, Six months ago I sprayed on a coat of light grey primer followed by some red oxide primer, then some flat black and then a heavy coat of gloss black, Then last weekend I put it in a zip lock bag and sprayed it with Easy Off, Let that set for a day, then hosed it off, that left it pretty much as you see it, except then I did the detail with artists oils. Hope that make sense.
  7. Been checking out your other builds, some very fine work you do.hope I can achieve your level before I go.LOL
  8. Hey all, new to the forum, I build trucks, so here is my latest build on the bench. AMT 53 F-100. Doing this one a bit different by building backwards in a way. Started with doing the body work and paint first, then I'll build an engine, then the chassis. This just happens to be my best paint job to date. Enjoy.Looking forward to talking with other truck builders.
  9. Just got here, I build TRUCKS, so I'll be down in the truck section.Looking forward to meeting other truck builders.
