i have all the pieces painted, as soon as they dry they will be ready to be install. the engine cover will get a blue color instead of the dull gray. it needs a little contrast. everything is black, silver or white.

Hey Erick, How's d EXP Funny car, This was going to be the part box for the EXP body I got from you but a change of plans. I could really love to see photos of this car, incredibly that in google I could only get one in colo and is the front view and two in black and white. I was almost going to trsh this project last week, after I butcher out the doors it looked terrible, but after sandin it, it look ok. the door frame broke off and i could not find the piece, so I scratch built the piece. and now I find pieces missing. the scoop gone, so I built a scratch one......this thing is giving me a run for my pacients. Decals forget about it...just the motorcraft logo for the door, what a bear... so I just order a jeff bodine nascar kit just so I can get the motorcraft decal. it wont be the same but it will look good. If anyone have spare bob glidden decals that want to sell, don't care if it is not this car. I have lots of glidden projects. will post photos tomorow...lots of progres.

Simon, that's a die cast I got many years ago and promised to do a 1:24 scale model of it one day.....when I saw the fujimi, I almost cry men. and for a good price, because those fisher models were out of my legue and pocket. progress this weekend on this cucaracha. Question, I know this car had two engine set ups the 16 cil. and the 12 cil. WITH WHICH ENGINE DID IT RAN THE RACE IN 1970 ? I sopoused with the 12 but saw in a site a picture of the 16 and sais engine taken out of the 1970 917 winner of lemans and it gad me thinking.

CHECKING FOR FIT...ALSO REDUCED THE FAKE BARS SO I CAN REMAKE THEM WITH PLASTIC TUBES FOR A MORE REAL LOOK.
