and if I see one, I will grab it and make a road race car out of it.
LOVE the quater panels. Thanks for sharing

I understand, brother, but what you can not have, you learn to appreaciate more,
so I really enjoy the little time I have to built. which means, there is no time waisted.
Love this project, I have been thinking to do something like that, maybe go early
in time, maybe early 70's when big money , big trailers did not existed. Those were
inocent times in drag racing.

The overall style is cool, but where are the mirrors,
and why is there a hole in the hood?
When I took the photos, the mirros where the last thing.
but they are in. the hole has a glass and is to show the ingine.
I seen it in some hot wheels and I saw it in a ferrari and I liked the idea.
No is not a hole for a mising blower.
Thanks for the critique.
mirros and glass included now!!

I've often wondered - how do you use a styrene model for slot cars? I've seen a few slot car tracks and they move so fast a single wipe out would reduce a model car to scrap in an eyeblink. Seems like an LOT of work for something that can be trash in a few minutes. Please explain.
This is a plastic 1:24 scale boby out of a model kit
and this cars all they need after a night of racing is a good cleanning.
You do not have to woorie about wipe outs, this is stright line racing.
The only way you can have an accident is if yo drop it or if you do not check
at the bottom of the race track to see if they picked up the last cars that
went before you did. Its a great way to see your model racing other modelist
Check it out

Here is my latest project, a already modified mustang

movie, I wanted to get that import look, Hope I stick

love your style, specially when you combine two trnds at the same time.
the first one a low rider with the drag attitude, who knows if that is the new
thing coming soon. keep on posting, we will be watching.

Amazing work all of you.
This is my first year working with slot cars, but I have been building for a while.
Slot racing is modeling to a new level and the details that are showing today
it tells you where the hobbie is going,,,keep up the great work and thank you for having this
forum where all can learn from each other and see the progress
This body I did it out of a stock 06 camaro plastic and with a scratched built wing
and chin, and a resin pro stock scoop, gave it the right look......and going for the
Big Money sponsors.. I used some decals I had from a Top Fuel model I never built.
This was for a good friend of mine in Puerto Rico and as you can see the car already
made it to the winner circle.
Check the Art car forum for some of my other work.

This was the drawing that I did for Marcus during a discution in SCALEBUILDERS.com based in Puerto Rico,
in the project segment of the forum. plese check it out....anyway the respond I got made me post some of my drawings there and gave me confident to post them here.....this was the drawing that started it.
Thanks Marcus
and for the friend that likes the VW. This car was for SLOT DRAG RACING is not a full model project, but again
the respond has made me push my self to do it, I am reserching and getting parts to do a 1:24 scale pro stock vw.

ITS ALL GOOD, THANKS TO ALL OF YOU.
YOUR CRITIQUE DOES ONE THING TO ME.
IT HELPS ME BE BETTER. HERE IS SOME OF MY WORK.... welcome all of your coments.

thank you for your coments...it is really appresiated.
no its not my first built, but after watching your work and seeing how you guys build.
I decided to take my time and for the first time I feel I am not rushing thru.
and I was able to learn from this one and I can't wait to start in my other project.
the next one will take more time and skill. a 2006 mustang pro stock. using a resin body
and a 84 Pro stock T Bird kit ror the chassie. Will not do what I did in the past. Jam a body
on top of the pro stock chassie, will do what I saw here, will use the floor but create a roll cage
base on the body style and up to standard for todays Pro Stocks. will be my first......
and for the friend that saw RAYMOND BEADLE LIVE........I understand the love.
I saw him in Florida in his last exibition runs and I also saw Tom "Mongoose" McEwen,,
when he was driving his 57 BelAir and got his signature. My dad back then worked with a former
PRO STOCK RACER Richard De Lisi the "Waco Kid" and he knew all of them personally,
my dad broughd back a bunch of stuff sign for me and its funny Beadle own the nascar team Kodiac
wich became Rusty Wallace big break. He got me a crew team shirt of this. I still have it.
So you understand the love and why we try so hard in making good replicas.
I was to small to go oveerseas and go to the races, I was living in PuertoRico then.
but when I moved to Florida in 85,,,,and later got my licence...I lived in the track.
and yearly I go to Gainsville.
Will love to attent one day to the GOODGUYS event and see the old school funny cars again.

THIS KIT IS THE 7-11 MUSTANG WITH SLIXX DECALS.
CUT THE CAGE A LITTLE TO MAKE THE BODY SEAT LOWER TO THE GROUND
AND CUT THE SKIRT TO MAKE THE HEADERS COME OUT AND TO LET THE BODY
MAINTAIN THE LOW LOOK WITHOUT DRAGGING THE HEADERS.

Congratzz Great photos and most of all that I liked
was the peoples reaction to the models....Im. sure that
the real cars are unreal and the souds and smell, you can't
beat it, but there is something magical when you can duplicate
to almost perfection and sometimes better the look of the 1:1
counterpart. and that is why every car show should have a model show like this.
It is the same dedication, and passion you get when you restore this pieces of
racing history.
Will like to see your 956 up close and I wanted to go there but decided
to go to Sebring to the historical races at the end of this month insted
only if I knew.
I live in Florida, West Palm Beach...so is just a 3 hour drive...next year.
Gracias, por representarnos boriqua, y continua tu conquista.
PS, The guy covering his face.......been there, but worst i was with the wife.
