  1. Thx.
  2. My builds for 2021. I also made the drag strip diorama this year.
  3. Here is a few pics of the last build I’ll do for the year. 69 SS Nova. Wheels and tires are Fireball Modelworks. I had to narrow the rear end a little to fit the rear tires underneath. The paint is Duplicolor Bahama Blue.
  4. Hello. I’m new to the forum here. I’ve been modeling for most of my life. I have taken breaks from it from time to time. Anyways I posted a few of my builds. You may have seen them on some of the Facebook modeling groups I’m a part of. I’m happy to have joined and look forward to sharing our hobby together. Thx.
  5. I’m wanting to make my own decals for a particular build I plan on doing and I have a question about it. Normally when I do a build and put decals on, I brush on decal set fluid onto the model and decal after I have it in place. After it dries, I apply my high gloss clear coat sealing the decal under the clear coat making the overall appearance much better looking. My question is how well do the homemade decals work with decal set fluid and painting clear coat over them? Thx.
  6. This is the project I'm working on. I'm combining two kits to make one. I'm using the 78's frame, engine and drivetrain. Then I'm placing the 71 cab, bed and interior on it. I've already measured and closely looked at what mods I might need to make. I already noticed that the frame on the 78 has a longer wheelbase so I'll be cutting out about 7/16" of the frame. I'm choosing the 78 frame because it I think it will be easier mounting of the 4X4 components on it instead of the 71 frame. That also means that I'll probably be putting the rear in later to make sure the rear wheels line up correctly in the wheel well. The color I'm choosing is the factory two tone color scheme. I'm going with white along the bottom half and a dark metallic blue on top. I'm going to use the factory wheels from the Moebius kit instead of the chrome spokes from the 78 kit. I'll paint the wheels blue as well. Anyways I'll post some pics as I build. Thx.
  7. No. I’m a different Greg Fox.
  8. 74 Challenger. It’s an old MPC kit. I also have a 72 Challenger kit that I built in a burnt orange color stashed away. I need to bring it and a few others out as well. Thx
  9. This is only a few of my builds I have. I have some stored away in boxes that I'll have open up and shoot. My current build is a 71 Ford 4X4 pick up truck. I'm combining two kits to make one. I'm using the frame, engine and drivetrain from the AMT 78 Ford 4X4 kit and using the cab, interior and bed from the Moebius 71 Ford truck kit.
  10. Hello. I'm new to the site and I just wanted to post some of the builds I've done over the years. Some of them are pretty old builds (20+ yrs.). I've been building model cars for about 40 years. I'm no where near as good as some of the builds I've seen on here. I don't have anywhere near the time that some of the builds I've seen take. Lol. Anyways, here they are.
  11. Hello, I'm new here to the forum. I build both model cars and full size cars. Obviously the smaller ones are much more affordable so they're ones that get built more often. I also drag race a car when I'm not building model cars. I'll post a few pics of my builds here in the next few posts. Anyways I just wanted to say hi.
