  1. Good Afternoon all from balmy northern Idaho, Always struggle with Revell wheel mounting. Not the models with metal pins, the ones with plastic extensions of the axle. Expect 'click' and free rotation, does not always happen. Would appreciate any tips and or info. Thanks, Mike
  2. Don, great review. I do not have any time with this 'gun' yet just a couple of days. I am very pleased with it's performance and find the size and trigger exceptionally comfortable. Not trying to convince anyone, however, I am happy with my purchase. I will use your review for maintenance definitely. Mike
  3. Youse Guys are awesome! Thanks for the info. Ordered one from merriartist - almost $20 less expensive than Midwest. Mike
  4. Visited Midwest Airbrush site: HP-M2 out of stock. Did the 'chat' and rep said that they were not available any longer. Not sure if he meant Midwest or Iwata. Went to the Iwata home page and found no matches in the search for a M2. Anyone know current info on availability and where they might still be found? Thanks, Mike
  5. Thanks to those who responded. Being somewhat new to the hobby, I was unaware of the trigger type airbrushes. They appear to be my answer. Mike Madsen
  6. Good Afternoon to All: I have some physical issues with my 'trigger finger' and find that using a double action airbrush is quite painful. I have read almost all of the airbrush posts, however, can not seem to come to a conclusion about finding a good single action, gravity fed airbrush. I noted that the Paasche "talon" was described as having the ability to act as though it is a single action. I would really appreciate any information and/or suggestions about finding a quality airbrush to fit my needs. Thank you in advance Mike Madsen
  7. I have been building model cars for over 60 years. When I began I used my Mother's finger nail polish as paint. I am hoping to advance a little beyond that medium. Have just purchased my first air brush and have been viewing YouTube videos and now am totally confused. Thinning acrylic paint: some call the liquid: reducer, some thinner and Music City Model Works refers to 'future'. First question if it is infact acrylic, why not plain water. Second question what the heck is future? Thank you for any information which you share with me.
