  1. Thank you everyone. That is some interesting info right there. Its not too late for Revell or any other company to make some of the more modern kits if the demand is there. For now I have a few other old Revell / Monogram kits that I am slowly (like real slow) building.
  2. Built this over a year ago. Wanted to confirm the paint and decals held out.
  3. Built this thing about a year ago. Here is the video too.
  4. As promised in my earlier Monza and or Abu Dhabi, here is my Daytona twisted track. I did a video also showing how I tried to replicate a banked exit on an ikea shelf to display your models or diecast. Also was a different way to make the catch fence (other than gluing wood dowels or plastic rods) I soldered this one with brass. Hopefully it gives everyone some ideas on how to display our models. Enjoy!
  5. Jim, thank you! I've just uploaded my Abu Dhabi Yas Marina Circuit version. Just trying to give everyone ideas so they can make some sick ones too. I have a few more that are being video edited so I'd wait till those are up because I literally show a different way to do the catch fence in each version and then different paint techniques, etc. Check them out!
  6. Thanks guys. Appreciate all the comments a lot. I also really appreciate you sharing my videos, that really helps me grow. My downfall is I do enjoy planes, trains and cars... But most of my videos are nascar related. I'd love to keep making more videos and trying to help out where I can. We're always learning... Thanks guys!
  7. Thanks guys! Perfect, here it is!
  8. Convert your IKEA or similar shelf to display your 1:64, 1:25, 1:24, 1:18 scale diecast and plastic models cars / bikes for super CHEAP!! I have a yt video on how I built it, not sure if I'm allowed to post that. Thanks all!
  9. Finished this build about a year ago. Made a custom koolbox IV, wiring, etc. Customized seat using a mouse pad and some styrene. I have the full build on yt, including my .02 on wheel detailing, not sure if I'm allowed to post the link to my channel or video? Anyways, take care everyone!
  10. Thanks a lot guys for the compliments! I can totally see that all the pics are out of focus, I was trying to capture screenshots from the gopro late at night, with cross-eyed results. I will take pics with my camera from now on.
  11. Hi All! New to posting here, just want to complement everyones rides that are posted on here, totally inspired me after 20 years of not building any scale NASCARs. Especially John (Old Coyote) for constantly throwing out #5 Labonte/Hendrick rides! They are all awesome and everyone on here deserves a lot of credit. On to the build. First off, I screwed up the roof decal "the real thing" location. Car is a Revell Chevy SS Chase, Power Slide decals from mikes and Tamiya spray cans. I added some Hendricks decals to the valve covers. I called Stewart-Haas and asked them what motor they had in that day. Also said Hendricks has three of them left so if anyone wants one, call them up, they have few left. Turned out okay for now my 3rd car (other two are a T Labonte and C Elliott). Not sure if Im allowed to tell you I have a YT channel with the builds of these.
