I come from a family of transfer truck owner/operators and would love to build one but I am unable to find anything about how to or where to in regards to specifically building one. I'm thinking I'll have to fabricate it all. Guess this post is a fact finding/advice post. After I build a couple practice models I might start looking into finding good pics. I've thought about trying a 3D printer but never used one and don't have any training on the software needed. Any thoughts and ideas are welcomed. AJ

Here is some pics of my Impala on the bench. Started it couple years ago and just got back to it after major life events. This is a practice model to since it's been so long. Trying out the wash technique that I've never done. Thanks for looking in.

I'm excited to build my first model in nearly 3 decades. I can't believe it's been that long. I mainly built cars of different types. I once chopped the top on a early 30's Vicky, slammed a 90's Ford dually. Put some rubbing is racing marks on a Nascar. I was a young boy then and enjoyed customizing my kits to the best of my ability. I don't think I had any magazines then since my local convenience store didn't sell them. Just tried different things. While trying to accomplish my first kit I am a married family man with 3 kids 6 and under, a dog and studying for a new career in the auto collision world. Retired from the military a year ago. Looking forward to contributing and learning. Thanks for reading and having me on the forum! AJ
