Dave G look under General model building questions and answers and you'll see my 68 Roadrunner painted light blue enamel/lacquer thinner 1:1 ratio airbrush then flat black spray paint maybe two feet above roof to get vinyl affect; VERY PLEASED THUS FAR! Rest of model to come.

As I'm getting adjusted back here is the 68 Roadrunner with vinyl top. My questions are as follows: Do I put the clear on top pf the decals and metal foil or in reverse? You guys are great; really appreciate the help

Can I airbrush the Testors' enamels? Are they similar to doing the same with lacquers except thinning with paint thinner? 1 part enamel to 1 part paint thinner ratio? Any advice is much appreciated. Wado

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts; very grateful. Steve LOLLLL the cheez whiz was gold lollllll. I will prime from here on and won't skip it. I'll share my AMT 68 Pro Street Roadrunner in parts. AMT for some reason you have to glue the chrome rear window pillar; A ROYAL PAIN IN THE ASSS!!! I'll foil it separate then after body is painted then tack it in. Too brittle any other way. Window frame under roof will touch the edges so I may have to file a notch to fit. Stay tuned and thanks to all of you.

I've debated whether this is a necessity or not. Takes more coats of paint to get the desired color. Your comments are welcomed. Thanks

Can anyone tell me the quickest way to REMOVE WINDOW FLASHING from resins????????????? I have the P/S Comet/Maverick from Competiton Resins really nice but excess flashing is thick and a real PAIN IN THE ASS to remove LOL!!!Besides an exacto which takes foreverrrrrrrrrrrrr does anyone have a speedier way? Thanks very much

Most of these resins don't come with windshields. What is the best most realistic way of making the window glass especially if it curves??????????? Thanks very much, Doorslammer68
