For the third season of the show two brand new 1980 Kenworth K-100C Aerodynes were bought and used to film the last season of the show these two trucks were one consecutive vin number apart from each other that are Vin #288161 and Vin #288162 and both of these rigs are still around today
John Amstutz out of Wind Gap, Pennsylvania currently owns the other third season 1980 Kenworth K-100C Aerodyne and the other 1972 Brown Reefer Trailer that appears in the series and both units are currently under restoration right now as we speak
Season One started off with only two different 1978 Kenworth K-100C Aerodynes and there are various of differences to tell those two trucks apart from each other
The first one is Vin #266661 and also is currently still verified to still be around today, But, Hasn't been seen in years by anyone other besides it's current owners
They ended up buying a stunt truck for Season Two that was a 1979 Kenworth K-100C Aerodyne in which was destroyed while filming the later Season Two episode "Siege" and it's chassis later became the donor for the Highway Men tv series truck in 1986
The pilot episode used a 1974 Kenworth K-123 that left Hollywood unverified back in 1977 and it had a couple of stunt doubles that were a 1973 Kenworth K-123 and a 1976 Kenworth K-123
Those trucks of course were all flattop sleepers
