  1. OK, thanks very much for the help and great information! I appreciate it.
  2. Hi All, I'm getting ready to spray some primer on my Tamiya JPS Lotus 72D and plan on using Mr. Surfacer 1200. I've been using all Tamiya paints and I have some Tamiya X20A thinner. Can I use the Tamiya thinner to cut the Mr. Surfacer 1200? I was going to go 50/50. I'm using a Paasche H. Thanks in advance! Edit: Oops, probably wrong forum.
  3. Like you, I'm getting back into model building too and just got a Paasche H. You might also want to remember to get a water trap of some kind for your set up. I got the one from Paasche that you can splice into the hose: https://www.paascheairbrush.com/product/mt/ Have fun! John
  4. Thanks Vince.
  5. Thanks Larry! Good to be here.
  6. Thanks Carl. BTW, I just happen have that poster of Steve on the wall right behind me and my work table.
  7. Thanks Kenneth. That 57 Chevy sounds like it will be sweeet!
  8. I'm an old retired geezer just getting back into modeling after about 40 years with a vintage 1:12 Tamiya JPS Lotus 72D I found on eBay. Oh boy! Did I ever jump into the deep end. This should be FUN...I hope! What a great website! I've been enjoying reading all the great forums and comments. You all have a such a wealth of knowledge, I'm humbled. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and I hope all of you and your loved ones are healthy and safe during these crazy times. John
