Very nice build. I also like drag racing type models. Your build makes me want to do one now.LOL I agree about SMBC , his stuff is top notch. His store is about 45 minutes from me and i tell you it is a modelers dream..

Pretty darn good build to me....I was going to use the Met blue on a 68 Shelby....I like this alot. Looks good on the roadrunner

I recently finished this kit and have nothing but good things to say about it.......I went with the orange and white stripes scheme myself....

I would like to thank you for doing the article. These little cars have been a thrill to play with and collect for the past 25 years. SOme of my favorites over the years are the 65 mustang and 67 camaro. They do go hand in hand with the automotive industry, for instance you can buy hot wheels of the new camaro and challanger already...good luck with the article.

Very cool build...what color is going to be?

I'm pretty happy right now. I soaked the body over night and primed it with the grey duplicolor primer and it looks great. I rubbed it out nice and will spray it tomorrow....Thanks

The day before i posted this, I bought a dupilcolor grey primer. I went with grey to deepin the Bright Calypso...Hopefully it works out I want this project to come out awesome.

Hey guys, I'm am about to start my first resin kit. I have an AFX 87-93 notch. I have painted some hoods and used Testors primers and have had some horrible result. I REALLY WANT to use the Model Masters custom lacquer system,Bright Calypso. Can anyone recommend a good primer or some tips to a good paint job........Thanks in advance. My plans for the notch are a Turbocharged, 351, 10.5 inch outlaw drag car......My camera usb wont work in my laptop(my pc took a crab about a month ago) After the holidays i am getting it fixed so i will post progress pics....

I do ALOT of my work at the kitchen table which is attached to the living room. So i listen to what my has on the television. If i am home alone I usually have on a stream of local sports talk radio....

Gotta say that notch is wicked......

This is so cool. I have wanted a notch model for about 4-5 years now and refused to pay the big $$$$ for any. I was able to get one for $40 from AFX on "The Bay" . I got it in 10 days and it is actually a nice piece. I will be picking up at least 1 more of the coupe in this thread when they are done.....I have owned numerous Notch's through the years. My current notch is an 82 with a killer 357 windsor. I cannot wait to get started on these awesome cars....Anyone know who makes a turbo kit?
