  1. Nicely done. That kit is nothing but big and very toy like. You turned it into a beautiful rendition of the real car. All the wiring, brackets, clips and things you added appear in scale and in correct positions, The door jamb detail is awesome as is the interior detail.
  2. Thanks for commenting Carl.
  3. Thanks for commenting Bob. When I saw the video of the 1:1 car on Vanguard motor sales I too liked the color, and the interior of the real car was done almost exactly like the interior components in the Revell 32 5 window.
  4. thanks for the comment. I needed a break from a long term project I am working on.
  5. Hey Dave, thanks for your comments. The wheels worked out ok. I wanted the rear wheels to be reversed, so that is why I did them the way I did instead of just adding beauty rings.
  6. Hi AL. Thanks for commenting. I am sure your 32's will come out just fine.
  7. thanks for the comment Mike. glad you like it.
  8. thanks for looking Bob. I like your youtube channel.
  9. Thanks for your comments Dave. Glad you like it.
  10. I needed a break from a 64 Galaxie Restomod I've been working on so I thought I would do a quick build and throw together one of the 8 or 9 32 Fords I have in my closet. The inspiration was a 1:1 car I saw for sale a few months ago on the Vanguard motor sales website. I liked how the GM blue looked on it. ( the photo of the rear view is the color of the model. The other pics are not the right color. Don't ask me how that happened.) The model is box stock except for the following: Top chopped 2.5mm. suspension lowered about 3mm, firewall from Revell 32 roadster, wheels are the wire rims from the Revell 32 sedan with the spokes removed and the steely from the Revell 32 5 window inserted, and finally the banjo steering wheel is from the Revell 29 Ford roadster.
  11. It takes several coats of the wine over black to start showing color. Shoot several coats over black on a scrap piece to see if I am correct.
  12. I get it. Good luck on this projcct. I think it's a cool topic.
  13. I like what you are trying to do here which is to build an accurate representation of Roth's pickup. I am also impressed with some of the detail work you have done so far. However the old Revell model has a few good parts in it, but the body, fenders and tailgate are so incorrect that it is about impossible to get an accurate 56 F100 out of it. There is an easier way. Use the front and rear fenders, inner fenders, hood, tailgate and frame from the AMT 53 Ford F100. Use the box from the Revell F1 Use the grill and cab from the Revell Foose FD100. (You can graft the back window from the AMT 53 Ford to get rid of the big window. Use the engine, front suspension, running boards with a little modification, and tail lights from the old Revell 56 Ford kit. You obviously have the skills to do this by the excellent work you have done so far. If you are interested, I built a replica of a 1:1 56 I owned using the above parts. I talked about what I did to build the model with Doug Whyte for his Model Car Muse channel on U tube. The video is a couple years old.
  14. Thanks. glad you like it. One thing for sure, it will be all FoMoCo!!!
