  1. Welcome aboard. I too am an old and model builder who started around 1960. As a kid there was a bit of parts swapping going on. and kits were dirt cheap by today's prices. Like you I sold off at least one huge stash of parts in the midst of raising a family and needing some cash to make Christmas happen. No big regrets. The kids had Christmas but I do miss so many of those kept parts. Since coming into this forum I have had some unexpected joys to replace what I had for a long time known as loss. There are some very helpful souls out there. A cornucopia of help tips, and genuine appreciation for modeling. It is a great forum. I can now reignite an old nearly counted for loss project. Parts I can only imagine were sold off in one of those boxes of goodies have been sent to me and a dream that is now more than 50 years old is back on the table. And from one Marine to another...Semper Fidelis and welcome. Poppy
  2. yes the front pieces are for sure. The rear "Edsel" lights are good too but the one piece rear section is the sought after one. I may have a strong lead on those pieces right now. I am just not good at navigating through this forum. I do appreciate your help and response. Do you have these pieces? Poppy1950
  3. Looking for stylizing parts from 1957 Ford Fairlane Kit T-157-200. I built one up back around 1968 or '69 and left it with the younger brother of a girl I was going with before I went into the Marine Corps in '69. I no longer have any of those stylizing parts from those kits. Looking specifically for the stacked (over / under ) headlights and the rear body extension. I would like to redo this kit with my grandson before my cancer takes me out. This is high on my bucket list. For a fair price I might be able to go for the whole kit if someone has one they are willing to part with. Please respond Poppy 1950
  4. I am looking for amt 1957 fairlane stylizing parts from the T157-200 kit from years ago. I can not find what I had stashed many years ago. Looking for the over/under headlights and the rear section that glues onto the trunk and is then filled with putty. I made this model up in 1969 before I went into the Marine Corps and left it with the younger brother of a girl I was going with at the time. No we never got back together when I returned home. I am on a very fixed income and am finally working on kits that are not as old old as the T-157-200. If no one is willing to sell off a few pieces can someone give me a direction to pursue to finally get what I need. I want to build this model up for my grandson before I die. Thank you, Gary Robertson
