As a teenager in the early 60s I was and still am a serious car geek. I built many model car kits in those days. But where to paint during our cold Chicago winters? So I devised a plywood panel with a round 10 inch hole and attached an old stove hood exhaust fan which I would insert into my partially opened bedroom window. With a large cardboard box with a compatible hole in the bottom placed in front of the fan on a table I had a spray booth. Worked great for a couple years until my Dad discovered the multi colored circle on the window screen. Ray Johnson
