  1. heres the best pic i got of showin the vent. and thanks for pointing out zuk i shoulda had the pic open when i was making em will fix that one tonight
  2. well i had it mocked up and i could see through the engine bay and grille, why? cuz there was no radiator. most probably wouldnt notice, but id know so i added one for the fender vents i did what casey said and am using the 54 chevy hood louvers they were a lil long, and too tall if i put em side by side so a lil choppin and they fit. i know there aint as many "vents" as the 1:1 but close enough for me
  3. ya i got that same kit. already dug out the vents and they will work when i mod em like you said your a life saver last thing i wanted to do was try and make em
  4. id like to get white leather seats, but to hard to keep clean,,,look at the door panel the vents are just on top of the fender good thinkin! now i gotta grab my 54 chev kit ya im gonna make grille to match the diplomat SE grill i got on the 1:1 now but later on i plan on makin a 80/81 grille like im gonna eventually put on
  5. wow that chassis turned out dam nice, wish i woulda thought about doin that for mine. i got a set of gold 20s

  8. well im doin what i can with a stitched up hand made the support braces under the hood (still gotta be painted) changin out the diplomat mirrors for caddy mirrors since they are a closer match to mine (caddys left, dips right) got the seats painted and the floor flocked but wait, whats that sitin on the front seat? oh ya, my coffin switch box
  9. found a wall that didnt get cleaned up
  10. heres what id ultimatly like to do to my 1:1
  11. i say donk it up, just cuz so many people say not to
  12. ya it was bad superglue wouldnt of worked, it was GUSHIN blood ya, it slowed my afternoon WAY down
  13. naw, they throw em out after each use, she just told me not to hurt myself with em had to get 5 stichtes caddy backs didnt match mine, so they had to be changed the wheels are just glued on and thank you
  14. got the side molding on
  15. oh ya, i did get some new tools from the doc broke the front tire off when i threw everything down when i gashed my hand and updates from before i gashed my hand found a caddy master cylinder in my parts bin, and cut the resevore off so i could use the bottom half also had to smooth out the back of the front seat since it had the lil storage space and said caddilac on it
  16. no, i was racin to the bathroom to stop the bleeding. the blood was just gushin out, i started to get dizzy for a lil bit and started sweatin like a mofo, had to go outside and cool off
  17. heres a lil bit of the blood that didnt get cleaned up and my enemy and heres what i was workin on, gettin it to sit right
  18. well building may be a lil slow now while workin on the chassis on the 5th ave replica so itll sit right when i put it back in the box, my brand new knife slipped and sliced my left hand between the index finger and middle finger, had to go to the ER and get stitches
  19. gotta thanks 85 biarittz for the caddy button tuck seats found a pair of 69 road runner headrests that fit perfect found a washer and overflow jugs n painted em up last night, still might add another coat and this had to have been the hardest part, turning the optima yellow top into a red top
  20. how could i forget it? cuz i never saw it nice build, but not custom enough for me
  21. looks good, i like them black nascar type wheels for it you got that kit from me the only ecto kit i got i started
  22. haha ya im just too lazy to change my sig links lol not sure what im gonna do boutthe side vents yet, still gotta figure that out i got the sidemarker lights (got from the dip lights) the front blinkers i chopped up the ones i had on it for the "uprights" and used a piece of clear plastic from packaging and scuffed it up with 600 grit sandpaper so it aint crystal clear. about the shoe-glue, thats what the broken driver side was glued on with, i took it off and replaced it with a good one from a parts fender
  23. small update, got the blinkers corrected, had to make my own
  24. almost done with the dash, just gotta add the PS2, glove box door, and paint the shift knob ruff idea on how im gonna do the headlight/blinkers and a VERY rough start on the vinyl top
  25. had to do a lil "extra" choppin had to take the one side of the glove box off, and cut some of the bottom out had to use a dremel and grind away at the extra metal under the dash just so the dam hindge would clear but then the PS2 wouldnt fit so i had to cut a chunk out of that and now the PS2 fits and all is hunky dory
