I truly admire your work, and certainly I am one for realism, which for me most importantly is the perfect body job. I'm totally down for the time of polishing, and honestly it sounds worth it (possibly fun too). So I'm wondering what you use for your wet sanding and polishing? The same goes for you Trevor, I would like to know what you use to polish. Also, do either of you use any kind of wax or anything after polishing?

I would use an airbrush in an instant if only I had fundings for a compressor.

Tamiya fine surface primer. I would never use rustoleum

By the way, my test spoon has gotten worse. I don’t know how, I haven’t done anything to it. -

I’m new to polishing, do I need a new cloth between each compound? Also how can I wash/clean my cloth? -
I’m missing a lot of spots with a spray can, is there a way I can get better coverage, especially in those detailed spots?

Would it be safe for me to continue and gloss coat it, or would the same texture prevail? -
I’m using Tamiya fine surface white primer underneath a Tamiya TS metallic. Am I just being super nitpicky or is there a way to improve the quality of my paint job? Notice around the edges of the light reflections are slightly fuzzy.

Tamiya acrylic

If I’m using acrylic base coat, which is better. Also I’d prefer to use 1k so that I don’t have to worry about the activation solution.

How come I have seen SO MANY spectacular results purely from rust-oluem paints?
