I don't know why my paint job came out so dotty--if that's a word. I'm using testors enamel with testors enamel thinner 1:1. I did mix colors.

A paasche h set I found comes with some 2 ounce plastic bottles, and I was wondering if I could use those for lacquer thinned enamel paints, or would it eat through it.

No it was from my paint job. It was there before clear coating

Does it work with enamel spray cans or with lacquer paints?

Where did you let it cure for months? How was it protected from dust?

The peeling is from my brushing, a mistake in the paint job. I just smoothed it out and continued

Are you talking about the paint peeling or the rough clear coat?

No the paintjob was brushed, and a couple of spots were messed up. I'm just trying to practice getting a smooth glossy finish.

I'm not going to use enamel clear though

If that's the case, which it most likely is, can I sand down my clear coat so that it is smooth, but still is acrylic as last layer, can I put another clear coat over that?

It'll just cost me too much to switch from enamel to something else

It is not a mirror Does anyone know why this is happening? I'm gonna blame it on my airbrush cuz it's pretty bad. I'm using tamiya acrylic thinner and tamiya acrylic gloss clear 1:1 it's on a testors enamel paint job. Video_20230816_204715_949.mp4

I have a tamiya acrylic clear, and I was wondering how to brush clear. I just did a horrible body job, but it's better than some of mine. (my airbrush broke)

I was having trouble with some cheap testors airbrush that has the bottle with thinned paint attached next to the sprayer nozzle and it's just trash. If I do 2 light coats and 2 wet coats for a body job with an emamel paint and an airbrush, how much time between coats?
