I'm currently spraying Mr. Super Clear gloss coat over 2x cover Rust-Oleum black primer. I'm practicing on spoons right now. My primer coat is smooth, but I sand it anyway, and the result it very nice. The gloss coat when applied in thin dust coats never ends up glossing. Every time I do a heavy wet coat, it covers really glossy and super smooth, but as it dries, dots begin to appear and then when it's fully dried, the gloss is almost all gone and the texture is all there. So who knows why this texture is coming out this way, and how can I stop it. I want to get a nice smooth glossy finish, but I can never achieve that.

Should I use lacquer or enamel clear? Sometimes I'm using enamel, lacquer, or acrylic for all kinds of things, and I haven't heard much good about enamel clear

I want to paint the little chrome emblems such as "corvette" or "stingray" and things like those on the sides or backs of cars. What brush can I use for these super small details?

How can I degloss it?

Is it a matte paint? I want to use it for an interior color.

I’m really interested in making more high end and realistic model engines, but I have no idea what the components of an engine are. How am I supposed to know which wires go where? Reference images aren’t working out so much. (I have all kinds of stuff that I need aftermarket for the model)

How do I know which spray is a metal flake? I'm looking for a lacquer metal flake spray that isn't too glossy.

And once I make one of those kinda bases, how do I clean them afterwards? I heard that sometimes uncleaned paint flakes off into a paint job

So then how do you put it on a base to paint?

I see a lot of people on youtube spraying their convertible cars with the supports going between the empty space at the top of the car. How do they remove the supports without making touchups afterwards?
