  1. Exactly. The 603-2 model on the picture had a 2,5 litre aircooled V8 with 105 HP. They were usually executive cars in the eastern bloc, especially in Czechoslovakia. Tatra even produced trucks with aircooled 75 degree V8s, they had a distinctive (and loud) whistling sound when revved up, even though the fan had a hydraulic clutch depending on the oil temperature - indicator of the engine temp.
  2. Just looked in mobile.de, there are 3 of them at the moment, on average for 8-10 000 Euros. All unrestored.
  3. This might be either a Volvo L3314 or a C202, I can't tell it from these pictures. The manufacturing of the latter was outsourced to Hungary to reduce costs. I would rather say that it's an L3314.
  4. It's a Renault Talisman Grandtour. (Station wagon in Renault-language)
  5. It is hard to tell whether it's a model, or you invented a stuff that makes cars shrink. Awesome!
  6. What I miss, is that the front of the cars were more or less visible. And the sight out of the driver's seat without the thick pillars, ascending beltlines & Co.
  7. Hi All! I am from Budapest, Hungary. I have been reading the forum as a guest almost since I resumed building three years ago during the lockdown. I had my first ever kit back in 1993, it was a Spitfire from a Czech manufacturer. (still exists) I switched from building coldwar jets (both US and Russian) to American cars in my late teens, when i became a fan of the cars built in the US from the 50s to 70s. However, I still don't have one, but still believe, that thay were the coolest cars ever built. The 124 in my nick doesn't refer to the scale, but my other passion: I am having a Mercedes W124 for almost 9 years, now a '95 E320. Thanks!
